Food taste old. And when you bring it to their attention, the cook or whatever she is, get mad (she told me I couldn’t order... from there anymore cause I said the food taste old) I know how old food taste, and I know how fresh food taste. They areselling food from the night before, and saying they cooking it fresh. I had fresh food from them before, so I know thedifference. Chipot Lee is Mexican & _Italian_, as of our visit, not Mexican & Asian as Google Maps currently shows. As visitors we found the... ordering process and the animated menu somewhat confusing. We'd planned to dine in, but they weren't really set up for that –there're a couple tables, but more for waiting for your takeout than for dining in. But man, the chicken quesadillas were reallygood. For locals, I imagine this place is really rewarding to learn and revisit. Read more
Not sure why there are so many bad ratings but their pizza is literally DELICIOUS. In my opinion they have the best pizza by far... in North Jersey. Your favorite pizza store can’t compete with these guys. This place is very underrated. Top 2 and there not#2. !!! Read more
Today for the umteempth time I went to Chipot Lee for lunch. Their food is always so good. I ordered their Philly Cheesesteak... Wrap and a Pepperoni Slice. The wrap was absolutely phenomenal. Usually I’d get a burrito or the tacos. But man was I happy Ichanged it up. The wrap had awesome flavor. The veggies were fresh. The biggest surprise of it all was that it came with fries.Was not expecting it to. I’m not a huge fry person, but they were really good and I ended up eating all of them. The PepperoniSlice didn’t stand a chance so no pics lol. But it was decent. I’d say the pizza was about average. All in all, absolutelylove their food, but just had to write about the Philly Cheesesteak Wrap. It was fuego ???? Would highly recommend Chipot Lee toanyone in the East Orange area looking for some good food! Read more
Not a bad spot at all. My rating is between 3.5 and 4 stars. Ordered the chicken quesadilla with lettuce. The chicken was dry... and was the downfall. Wished the chicken was juicier. I could have done without the corn. The ingredients were a little too busyfor my taste, took away from the cheese pull (but certainly customizable). The lettuce was also not my best decision. The spicysauces were really flavored well, added the nice salty, tang I was missing which saved the dish. I loved the green sauce themost. Nice staff and good service. Overall a 3.7 with room for growth. Read more
This place was nice and food was pretty good . Me and hubby went to get lunch . We've past it a couple of times and wanted to... try. The serving sizes are very generous, I have had more authentic Mexican food but this was still good. If you pay with acard they will ask for a ID ,which is weird but ok . I would definitely try again. Read more
After reading the good reviews I had to try. Sadly I had to give this place 2 stars. I ordered a plain pie and chicken nachos.... The pizza is nothing short of what you get at a $1 pizza place. Really no flavor and crust is eh. Chicken nachos, I was sooohungry I dove in. I prob had 2 semi crispy chips. I had it for delivery so I already knew that I wasn't getting a straight fromthe kitchen meal, but when looking it seems like the bottom of the container was filled w melted cheese, then chips on top thenthe toppings. So all of the chips were soggy. Chicken tasted old. I would not order from here again. Read more
I mostly get the Veggie Taco Bowl (Chicken Taco Bowl with no chicken) and lentil soup. Both are yummy. I get the soup w/o pasta... sometimes and it’s still delicious. Customer service is also pretty good which is rare these days. They’ve really earned &deserve their 5 star rating. Read more
