I?ve was born, raised and lived in this area for 25 years and never had an issue ordering from sunsplash. Would actually look... forward to it. I don?t know who this new ownership is but it?s very clear y?all have no idea what you are doing. I?ve never hadan issue but the last 5 times I?ve either tried to order/have visited the store I?ve walked straight out because there is somekind of bs preventing me from walking out w the food. I went to this site today. Sent my daughter inside to get 3 curry chicken Pattie?s. The lady cashier with the green and blonde... hair did not give my 11 year old the proper change. She told the child they don?t have change. I got out the card and told thelady that I have 50 cents and that she can give me a dollar because she did not have change. A nice gentleman came over. Iexplained the situation to him. The lady was standing there and not giving me my dollar so I told her you could give me my 20dollars back and keep the food. Once I asked for my money back the lady with the green and blonde hair became very disrespectfuland rude. She start yelling telling me that I was disrespectful and I told her that she should stop beating kids for change andthat she could have asked the child where is your mother? Or who sent you to the store because we don?t have change. Also when Icame in the store and gave her the 50 cents she should have just gave me the dollar. I was not disrespect or rude to her. I wastalking to the guy and she keep mouthing off until she had to be taken into the back room in order for her to shut up . She mustof had a guilty conscience. She has POOR CUSTOMER SKILLS. This place use to be really good, i would travel from Paterson for their smoothies n food on thr days i didnt work in essex... county. But it has fell off completely! The young lady that do the smoothies moves so slow, it always takes about 20 to 30minutes and there's only 2 people in front of me, it annoyed me so much i stop coming.Recently (11/8/22)after months of notgoing because I've been so disappointed, I got Ackee and saltfish and fried breadfruit. $19! For a small! There was no favor,barely any saltfish and it takes like it's old. It was so bad I tried to even give it away and after someone would take 2 bitesthey said no thank you. A Staff member had an attitude problem talking to elderly people. If an elderly person asks staff member pricing of food it is... expected they should know that info. Instead of pointing to the menu on display that the elderly woman is unable to see. Softskills such as empathy and customer service are extremely valuable in any line of work. It is suggested that your staff adjusttheir attitude accordingly and respect all customers. Read more

Delicious, authentic Caribbean fare and exceptional customer service, that's what you get at Sunsplash. I had the pleasure of... tasting their vegetarian stew peas, served with rice n' peas and a side of plaintains. It was absolutely delish, as was theplant-based, peanut punch. No wonder the food finishes fast. I will definitely be back to trying the highly recommended spinachpatties, and more from the juicebar. Read more

Stopped in for dinner The place is cool never a long wait Little congested in the area good food.. here I had the salmon???? w/... mixed vegetables white rice with heavy curry gravy... I love this place. They have a great smoothie selection from energy smoothies to stress relief smoothies! They?re food is also... really good. They have vegetarian options as well as meat options all fresh and tasty. I had the chicken soup the other becauseI had a cold, whatever they put in that souped burned the cold out of me Lolol! I remember I used to come to this spot when I was younger so I wanted to try their Ital Stew (vegan). When I arrived I found... parking nearby. I walked in to asked if they took credit card and the lady said yes. I ordered the ital stew, rice and peas,kale and fried dumpling. I also ordered a pink Ting and water and it came to a little over $12. When I got home I dug in and Iliked the fried dumpling. The ital stew wasn't to my liking but I must say they gave me more than enough. I couldn't even finishit all. All in all I had an ok experience. Read more
