I worked there. He bought me in just in time to start covering his catering parties. My second day I and a friend of mine... covered a 250 person party. A couple weeks later I had fallen, broke 5 ribs and was not brought back after. Although my attemptsto go back to work were left with voice mail and no return. I still tried to bring him business that failed. Because he wouldn'tspend the money, I had lost the job. The cooks are great and food is great. However it is way, way over priced. Read more

The food and chef should get 20 stars. The food was absolutely out of this world. Came in from NC, to visit my son, daughter in... law and grandson and everything about this was amazing. Aside from my daughter in law we all love German food, and this was theabsolute best German food we have ever had. Everything just melted in our mouths. The chef even spent time with us and asked ushow to make a German dessert. We are definitely coming back December and can’t wait. Read more

5 stars are not enough if possible I would give 10. The food was absolutely out of this world. I came in for the first time... tonight with my in-laws, husband and our son. I am not a fan of German food, but my in laws and husband were enthralled with howamazing the food and presentation was. I ordered the lobster Mac and cheese, I’ve had lobster mac&cheese elsewhere but thislobster was cooked to perfection, it’s like it melted in my mouth. Our son had the pork chops, he eats everything to beginwith and devoured his pork chops; but for him to eat mashed potatoes, and string beans when he won’t them at home is proofenough this food is absolutely amazing. Not only that but the chef spent significant time with us and is so such a nice guy. Heeven exchanged numbers with my mother in law in order to learn how to make a German dessert. Though the wait was long, no faultof anyones at the restaurant it’s due to the nature of the pandemic and people not wanting to work. Again, no fault of therestaurant. We will have no problem waiting again for such amazing food again. We will most definitely be returning. ???? Read more

We stopped in before a house party. We had drinks and some appetizers which were phenomenal. We sat outside which was so... relaxing. The bartender was very friendly. They were setting up the band which was 9 piece and wanted to stay. We will be backfor sure Read more

We had a recent family fumction at the Pine Grove Inn. Good food, great location. My suggestions for improvement are to have... the staff better trained on how to wait on tables, and perform some of the tasks more efficiently. Instead of having threespearate trips to a table for different coffee and tea orders, use one tray to carry the three cups, Read more

Had a fantastic experience at the Pine Grove in yesterday.... stopped by for an early dinner and immediately fell in love with... the amazing waterfront seating and excellent live music, the cover band Mach 5, which played tons of classics and helped make ita remarkable and memorable experience. Seems like this would be an amazing place to have a party or special event. The ownerMike, right-hand teammate Brad and all the waitstaff were super friendly. The ribs were delicious and tender. I took anenjoyable short walk to the gazebo and around the pier and imagined that it would be am amazing place to enjoy a sunset on adate or with loved ones. Highly recommend you check out the Pine Grove Inn and call ahead to make reservations during the timesthat there is some entertainment ongoing! Read more

The entertainer was soothing. Definitely worth the drive fromQueens. Waterfront view was spectacular. And to see the owner Mike coming out greeting us personally, helping out with ourorder making sure it was perfect to asking if we needed anything else to just being friendly is something that I've never seenbefore. Made our dining experience extra special. Will definitely visit again. Thank you. Read more

My husband and I visited the Pine Grove Inn this past weekend and had a pleasant dining experience. We started with two bowls of... French Onion Soup - some of the best we've had and we've tried many such soups at various restaurants! The lamb chops werecooked to perfection and the sides we selected (broccoli and mashed potatoes) were also very good. We had several glasses of thehouse cabernet, made especially for the Inn - a light and airy wine that was the perfect (and affordable) accompaniment to ourmeal. We topped our dinner off and shared the chocolate mousse cake which also was solidly good. The servers were cordial andprofessional, and the overall ambiance was quaint and cozy on a cold winter's night. Read more
