It's a dirty filthy place. It has been sometime since me and the wife ate here but it has gone down hill. The men's bathrooms is... filthy and smells like BO. The employees are friendly and seem to be clean. I relize finding employees is tough right now butyou can take 5 minutes and at least clean the sink and toliet in the bathroom. Not sure what to do about the smell.. Read more

Review Date: September 15th, 2013 Jersey accent not needed to order here. Out of nowhere, Jersey Mike?s appeared in East... Peoria. I only knew this because I got a flyer in the mail offering a free sandwich for the grand opening of Jersey Mike?s. Mattgot the same flyer in the mail, so I asked him if he wanted to check the place out. He agreed and we found an afternoon we wereboth free to redeem our free sandwiches. We got lucky as there wasn?t a long wait for us to order our food. The coupon we hadwas for a free sandwich but we also grabbed some chips and soda to round out the meal. From what I remember, ordering a sub hereis like any other sub shop. You pick out what sandwich you want from the menu and then you can customize it to your liking. Mattand I placed our ordered, waited for our food and took a seat outside. I grew up eating Subway in my late teens and early 20sso I am all too familiar with eating and ordering sub sandwiches. It wasn?t until I started to travel that I realized that subsandwiches have more to them than the mass-produced stuff they have at Subway. I?ve tried Head West, Firehouse Subs, Snarfs, anda few others. Once I tried these places, I haven?t had Subway since. It?s just my personal opinion but I feel these smallerchains do it better. Does Jersey Mike?s do it better than Subway? Yes. Yes it does and then some. Jersey Mike?s is easily in myTop 5 for places to get subs. Despite not remembering the specific sandwich I ordered, I do remember being amazed at thesoftness of the bread and the quality of everything smashed in that small crevice where the bread was split open. Each bite wasfull of flavor and everything tasted as if it were cooked fresh. It was with luck that I got another flyer in the mail. It wasan offer that any money donated to the local firefighters earned you a free sandwich. I took the offer down there, threw somemoney in their firefighter tip jar and quickly scooped up my free sandwich. I remember being ama Read more

Food was good. Staff was polite. But I would think with all the reviews about the tables needing cleaned and garbage needing... emptied, these 2 things would be recognized and completed... but no. I would suggest getting bigger trash cans, as the ones inthe dining area are tiny. It wouldn't take much to fill one up, with bulky sub wrappers & soda cups. We were there at 1130a, soit was just before the lunch rush. Of course, this makes me wonder if the garbage cans that were already filled to the brim, wasn't left from the night before? But I'll settle for them being tiny and not taking much to fill them up.. for my own peace ofmind. I know your employees can do better Jersey Mike's! Don't forget to train them on the importance of a clean dining area. Itmakes your customers question how clean other important areas are being kept... or not. Read more

The staff work pretty hard, I always get the same sandwich which is done pretty well, but? I have to agree with a couple of the... reviews that every visit the tables are smeary and the garbage cans pretty filled. I hesitate to tell the staff because they areso preoccupied and busy. And I?m not sure how they would respond to some constructive criticism. PS ? to cut down on litter thestaff should ask people if they are dining in or taking out that way they do not have to give everyone a paper sack for theirsandwiches, which are stuffed in the garbage containers in the store by people who dine in. thanks! good luck! Order wasn't ready when I went in to pick up. They couldn't find my ticket. Some lady printed it out without acknowledging that... it was my order that they hadn't started yet. She makes my order puts it on the counter behind the cashier instead of handing itto me. Cashier doesn't give me my food. So i figured it wasn't mine. They give 4 other people in line their food before Ifinally asked again if my food, that I have now been waiting for for 45 minutes for, was ready. The guy looked at the food onthe counter and said he doesn't see it anywhere. He checks my phone to see if i placed my order at the right place. Finally helooks at the order on the counter that i thought was mine and asks if I ordered 2 specific subs. And I was like yes those arewhat I ordered. He then goes ohh yea they were here the whole time. My food is now cold and I was not even offered an apology. Read more
