Reviews for Jonah's Seafood House in East Peoria, IL
My 1st time here and I wasn't disappointed. We had a wonderful time. The food, service, and atmosphere was perfect.
Great food! Our server was new but good! My wife and I ate filets. Wonderful!
This is one of the best seafood restaurants I have ever eaten at in the Midwest. Been there several times and always loved it
Best seafood place in East Peoria!!! They could make cardboard taste good. The lobster is amazing and the king crab is too! And... hello coconut shrimp! The chocolate cake was not only huge, but so good we forgot to take a picture before we started eating! Read more
Jonah's is top notch all the way! Between the Cuban sandwich, the jambalaya, and the crawfish etouffee I can never decide what... to get. If you haven't been to the oyster bar definitely check it out as well - it's first come first serve seating though soget there early! Don't forget dessert - the creme brulee is perfect. All of this with the service to match! Read more
Stopped in 2 nights ago for dinner. Turned out it was “re-opening” night. It was super clean and had a lovely lay out with... Covid precautions taken. The food was soooo good. I mean beyond amazing. The only thing that I can complain about is the ranchdressing. Our server was super sweet and attentive. She made it great! Will definitely be back! The crab cakes were to die for!10/10! If you love upscale dining and seafood, this is definitely a place you want to try! Read more
Jonas Seafood never disappoints. It's hard to beat a midwest sunset view overlooking the Illinois River and the City of Peoria's... skyline. I've been coming here periodically over the past decade for lunch or dinner, and the quality of food, paired with anattentive staff, has always been consistently brilliant. The atmosphere has always been enjoyable and the staff do what they canto accommodate your needs. For lunch today, a colleague of mine and I enjoyed their Louisiana Jambalaya and their deep friedWild Caught Gulf Shrimp. Bare in mind that Jonas Seafood is flown in fresh daily and made to order! The Jambalaya is one of myall time favorite dishes and the chef always makes this with the right amount of spicy. The Shrimp were on the larger side andthe batter was well seasoned and thin! I got a side of the Au Gratin potatoes along with my Jambalaya - these are sweet andcooked to PERFECTION. Never too soft and they finish cooking right at your table being served hot. Not pictured was the friedcalamari appetizer we got. Unfortunately we devoured it before I could get a good picture of it! Kudos to the owners, thechefs, and the staff for creating and maintaining a relaxing atmosphere with tremendous food. To anyone who has never been, you're missing out. As always, I'll see you again next time Jonas! Read more
The food and the view is awesome. The clam chowder is rich and full of ingredients. The fish is fresh.
