The place was just dirty. Grease everywhere, and I could see why once the chef started cooking. The entire dining area was full... of smoke from the grease. Our server couldn’t understand anything we were saying and vice versa. Menus were one page, verycheap looking and unappealing, in large lettering that took up 1/3 the page. The sushi menu didn’t have what was in half therolls, and when we asked the server didn’t know. Food was decent but a little overpriced in my opinion, and oddlyproportioned. I ordered 2 rolls, egg rolls, and crab Rangoon. A decent $55 meal. The best thing I ate was the crab Rangoon which was probably... frozen. The rolls were not rolled at all and fell apart. Made with brown avocado and welted seaweed very appetizing. Next up wegot the egg rolls good thing we split them in half first. We were greeted by a long stretchy raw dough center. If I couldimagine what feet tasted like I’d imagine it was nailed fantastically with the meat (whatever the meat was). I will only giveyou a 1 because the FROZEN Rangoon was the all star of this course. First of all, people that complain about the wait should have made a reservation.???????????Can’t blame the restaurant for... being busy because their food is amazing! My bf and I came here tonight to celebrate him finishing his school semester and megetting accepted into school for the spring. We ordered different rolls and loved them all! Not too crowded and very fastservice. We don’t come here often due to it being kind of pricey (however well worth it) but when we do it’s worth everypenny and always so good! I went at 1:45 pm and got a togo order (they close at 2 o’clock and open back up for dinner, so it was a little bit last... minute). The hostess was very good and took the order. Sushi was just “ok”. The rolls are really small. The fried roll wasnot really hot maybe they turn the grease off when they are going to close and not expecting to get a last-minute order? Or theycook that one earlier and then refried it it’s possible. Also it was really greasy. I paid $28 Plus I left a tip, you can seemy hand holding the to go box I was pretty surprised at all fit in one little box you don’t get much food. I could’ve ate acouple more rolls that size.. The Tempura shrimp roll has the shrimp sticking out on the ends it was really cold like it wasfried earlier that day and then placed inside fridge And I just wanted to have fresh food.. The wasabi was dark green on theoutside and light green on the inside, little dry and harder than at other places like it was sitting around all day.IDidn’treally enjoy this one and I wasn’t impressed. We did the Hibachi Grill for our anniversary. The chef was great! He made a chapel and a heart shape out of the food he was... preparing, all while singing little love songs. It felt special. I wish they would have given the option to select our own tipamount. We wanted to tip more. The food was AMAZING from start to finish! The aimed sake shots were pretty fun too.
