Okay, this place has a great ambiance (gorgeous patio), and the most adorable owners. They were running around talking to, and... waiting on, all the customers. Father?s Day lunch celebrating two dads and two families. Scouted and chosen by older teens. A huge hit! For the Texas-inspired... food, the location, the decor, the outdoor seating, the service and the owners, Ronnie and Shana Campsey. We were all full andvery happy. We had an absolutely wonderful time and will make an effort to visit when we are in the area next. Ronnie tellswonderful stories and is friendly and engaging presence. So honored to have met him and to know about his service to thecountry. I'm sooo happy to have found Cowboy Ron and his awesome wife Shana's New Moon Cafe just a hop and a skip away from our second... home in HB!! They have been in business for over 40 years and are open for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner and have a reallycool very southwestern feeling restaurant and also a beautifully stocked bar. All of course is safely in the guidelines forCovid safety precautions and rules too. Onto breakfast! Ordered one of the specials of the morning :grilled cheese breakfastSandwich with 2 eggs, bacon, Jack cheese placed between 2 buttery cheesey pieces of grilled toast: it was total comfort food. Iasked if they kitchen wouldn't mind not wrapping my breakfast burrito but just put the contents on a plate and and the Tortillaon the side and they happily obliged. The egg, peppers, onions and chorizo mixture was so flavorful and satisfying. Theaccompanying potatoes are delicious too! Also shared the grits with super garlicky jumbo shrimp that came with a homemadebiscuit and 2 eggs on any way you like. The grits are seasoned perfectly and the heavily garlic infused sautéed shrimp were aperfect accompaniment. We met both the owners and I totally connected with Cowboy Ron when we spoke about how he and my fatherwere both in the Vietnam War around the same time frame! Stopped in for the 1st time to celebrate my Birthday Dinner Immediately liked the layout and atmosphere and could see the place... has a following. The hostes was amazing smiling and couldn?t be friendlier As for the food my sons chicken fingers were good thefries could use a flavor boost Wife and I had the chopped steak I had mine with mashed potatoes and veggies Both the meat andpotatoes were excellent Followed it up with a Sundae Overall very pleased would have no problem making it a go to place Read more
