The best bakery in the city. I've been to plenty as I love baked goodies. Leo's made my mother's birthday cake and it was... beautiful and delicious. Other places may decorate their goods really nice but they don't taste that good. Leo's is the best atpresentation and tasting delicious. Read more

Ordered a cake from them for my Dad's 79th birthday. Wanted a chocolate cake batter with a buttercream frosting. They made it... vanilla cake with buttercream frosting, not chocolate cake with buttercream frosting. When they asked us to check if everythingwas alright, we could only see a nicely buttercream frosted cake and not what flavor of batter it was actually made fromunderneath as we do not have xray vision. The reciept and bakery ticket said it was a chocolate cake so we believed it. Then onthe day of, turns out they got it wrong and it was a vanilla cake instead despite what was written on the receipt. My Dad wasgreatful and happy, but his favorite cake is chocolate cake and he doesn't have many more occasions like this in him so itbothered us enough that we called Leo's about it. We got a young lady who was in a foul mood and did not want to help us, andultimately we never got a call back from anyone at Leo's. We tried back and got the same result. It was really a surprisebecause we have always been nothing but kind to them and have supported their business in the past before and have always likedthem, however this was our first time actually special ordering something from them and this was our experience. If you want toorder something in advance you should go elsewhere, but I still think Leo's has an excellent pastry and Italian cookies counter. Read more
Our food took quite a long time to receive. My mom ordered the Cuban panini, my husband the Philly cheese steak on wheat, and... my father got the Philly cheese steak on white. I had the roast beef panini. Though the flavors was delicious, I had a bit oftrouble. The bottom half of my sandwich was not cut through. We're given plastic knives which made it very difficult to getthrough the bread which has been grilled. I ended up cutting all the way through to the table. Once I got my sandwich properlyhalved, only one half had any meat! But the flavor was excellent! The portions were decent sized, so there was the option totake some home. The bakery had so much variety it made it very difficult to choose just one thing. Or just 5 things. Overallan okay experience. Read more

Special ordered Thanksgiving ?Turkey? shaped cookies; looked great till we noticed the bottoms seemed scraped as if they burned... them & scraped off the burnt. They didn?t taste burnt, but they weren?t as good as they should have been had they been whole.
