There were 4 of us for dinner. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. Good was very good and always have leftovers to bring... home. My only complaint is the acoustics on the bar side. During high season it is hard to carry on a conversation with yourtable mates. Read more
Last night I had dinner at Amari with an old friend. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was excellent as expected, but... the service from Elie is what really stood out! He was incredibly attentive, he provided excellent insight on the menu, he tookthe time to understand our preferences and made recommendations that we both took advantage of. Both dishes were perfect for us.Beyond that, he was polite, professional and very interesting. We had a great discussion on the history of his home country.This was an added benefit to our night! Far beyond pleased!!! Our waiter Eli was knowledgeable and courteous as well as entertaining!!! The owner was very humble and... has a fantastic establishment and staff! Wow! Food and service was amazing. Everything came out so fast and tasted delicious. The quality of the meals definitely ... reflects the price. Everything was totally worth it. We got bruschetta to start, which tasted very fresh. I had a seafood pastaspecial which was insane. We also tried the primavera which was great, as well as the clams over linguine. We?ve been going to Sandwich every Veterans Day weekend for over 20 years. We?ve driven by Amari many times but never ate... there. Kicking myself for waiting so long! We made reservations for 15 minutes after opening. All the staff were welcoming andcheerful. The lighting was perfect and the music was just the right volume. We were able to talk normally and still enjoy themusic when not talking. They gave us nice warm bread and marinara to start. (I could have been happy with just the bread it wasso good). I got the lasagna which was awesome. My wife got the lobster risotto and said it was delicious. We also got a sideof meatballs. There were two and they were beyond huge!! We had to take them home for later. My wife had a crème brûlée fordessert. I got a bourbon neat (not a stingy pour like some places) and an IPA. The bill was only $103 plus tip. Very cheap forthe ambiance, quality of food and service. Huge parking lot as well. We will be back every fall from now on. Read more
