The order with the fries and single slice, I ordered off the kids menu and it's for my 2 year old. The slice alone was so big I... was able to turn 1 into 3 and I got a lot more fries than expected. The Stromboli is a small but comparing it to the two slicesnext to it, you can clearly share the small size. Delivery was prompt, food got to me in a half an hour and the driver wasnice. This is a 5 star Poconos review. If I got this slice in NJ or NY it would be 4-4.5 but in this area, this pizza really stood... out. My girlfriend was grabbing some stuff from the dollar store in this plaza so I decided to run in and grab us each a slice. There was minimal to no bend at all, nice thin crust, cheese to sauce ratio was on point. Tasted similar to NJ and NY pizzas Igrew up on and loved my whole life. Got a plain and a white pie a couple weeks later. Naturally with takeout some of that bendand such is affected by the cardboard box, but still solid pizza. The white pie was really good actually. Brothers has classic pizza in my eyes. The crust is thin, the sauce is slightly sweet and the cheese is perfection. I have only... ever ordered a plain pizza and garlic knots so I can't really review anything else on the menu. I always ask for crispy and Iwill say the only reason they didn't get 5 stars is because I believe they have different people making the pizza and the doughisn't always as stretched out or as crispy as Id like it. The owners here take a lot of pride in their Pizza, don't think we caught them on their best day, so we may be back to try... their regular pizza. This place was considered a Pat's Pick for the Pizza Hunters App. Basically Pat Picks a Pizzeria during aRoad Trip based on Highest Rating. Brothers Pizzeria had the highest rating for our traveling area. The expectations were veryhigh considering they had a 4.7 rating. We orderd a medium Margarita Pizza which cost $18. The owner/worker was super nice andengaging. Provided excellent customer service which makes this review even more painful because the Pizza was not what I am usedto. Maybe we should have ordered a regular Pizza because I am begining to find out that not every Pizzeria knows how to make agood Margarita Pizza. This particular Pizza had sliced tomatoes and super thin Mozzarella Cheese. Really insulting consideringhow much the Pizza cost. The sauce had an over abundance of garlic and oil. It reallt upset my stomach. The Crust was not good,not the best experience. Read more
Went here on a whim after looking at Google reviews - just wish I had read the lower ratings closer. The girl on the phone was... very pleasant and the guy at the counter was super nice. The protection set around the counter was the most complete I'veseen. Sadly, the Margherita pizza didn't live up to the initial appearance. The mozzarella was cut too thinly, so it couldn'treally be tasted. The sauce was underwhelming, with the basil leaves too big and overpowering. To add to the basil, the freshgarlic was too much - this resulted in leaving the stomach unsettled. Margherita requires a delicate balance between basil,garlic, sauce and cheese, and sadly, Brothers couldn't find it. Thanks to the great customer service, I will go back to try theplain slice or maybe another topping, (and hopefully raise their rating) but Brothers was just not successful with theMargherita pizza.
