We ordered fried chicken, greens, Cabbage, Yams, blackeye peas, dressing, corn bread, and kool-aid. Ms. Felicia put her foot in... the whole meal. The meal was ABSOLUTELY delicious. And Ja'Easton is a great server. He he's such a sweet and great personality.???????? I will definitely be back. My prayer is that God continues to bless this establishment in Jesus name???????? This is my second time ordering from this establishment. I?ll try to be objective. I ordered the Hobo platter it comes with ... Shrimp (2), crab balls (2), haddock bites (2), catfish bites (2), N'awlins poppers (2), gator sausage, bourbon chicken, redbeans, dirty rice, and creole fries. I also ordered a slice of lemon cake. My meal costed a little less than $45. I orderedover the phone and the employee was very nice. The parking lot wasn?t plowed so I had to park across the street. The entrancewas small, unassuming. My food was ready upon arrival. The food was kind of disappointing. To start it was cold, not a bigdeal. I could have arrived sooner so that?s partially my fault. Either way, I threw it in the air fryer and it got crispyagain. Positives: Orange dipping sauce was delicious. Sausage was the best item, shrimp was good too. (Didn?t eat the poundcake yet but it looks good) Neutrals: the crab balls weren?t too bad seasoned well but a little too big for me personally. Half the size or even flattened would have been great. The poppers were also too big and the internal texture was like wetbread, they were decently seasoned though. Fries were fries, surprisingly under seasoned. Dirty rice was okay, nothing specialstood out about it. Negatives: the haddock had a weird taste, not sure if it was the seasoning used but I didn?t like it verymuch. The bourbon chicken was okay, not really feeling the sauce it was a little too vinegary. Same with the red beans which wasprobably the worst item. The beans tasted like straight vinegar not very good at all. I couldn?t eat them. I don?t want to betoo harsh but honestly I was a little disappointed overall. I could be bias though as my family is from down south but thedescriptions were more tantalizing than the food itself. It was giving very much off brand. I just didn?t feel the ?love? in thefood. I wouldn?t be as disappointed, if I didn?t spend as much money for subpar food. I wanted to give them another Read more

The best part of the meal was the Roll that came with the food. Nothing was good. So sorry but if you wantSOUL FOOD It Is Not Here. This is probably the best place to get Louisiana cuisine. I was shocked that a place like this exists in the Syracuse area, and... the restaurant is worth the drive to East Syracuse. Jambalaya I ordered was flavorful and hearty. The Gator Sausage Toes had theright amount of batter, and I recommend the N'awlins Chicken Tenders for the kids. So skip Popeye's and come here instead! Thefood here is just very good. Read more
