Extremely disappointed! Got the food bar. Salad bar was missing more than half the toppings! The containers weren't empty, they... weren't even there! They didn't pay attention to the bar! The hot bar ran out of seafood! There was no soup out at all! Theydidn't even ask if we wanted any! The 3rd person in our group had soup with his meal even! A good waitress would have asked ifeither of us wanted soup with the food bar! We were extremely disappointed! Especially since we no longer live in Michigan &rarely get to go to a Big Boy anymore! I?m not sure what I was expecting, but the food was the equivalent of what you would find in a school cafeteria. The restaurant... maybe had 5 tables that were filled, and the wait time on the subpar food was over 35 min. Not to mention the 20 min wait justfor the check. I wish I could give it a zero because they do NOT deserve even a one star rating. Absolutely HORRIBLE food and service! Waited... an hour for our food which was cold and not cooked properly, slim Jim ham was cold and cheese not melted, eggs were over hardinstead of over easy (waited for 45 minutes for them to replace the eggs and ended up canceling them. Hash browns were cold andtasted like they were from the breakfast bar earlier in the day. Never got refills other than the one I had to flag him down toget. The only good thing we got were the pretzel bites and cheese sticks. My poor grandson (3yrs old) after an hour and a halfand me going up to the front counter to complain and then speaking to a manager finally got his food. At that point he?s tiredand and restless from sitting for 2 hours and wouldn?t eat his food. They said that the kitchen was backed up. How??? I counted7 tables besides ours. The wait staff was of absolutely no help. They kind of acted like well what do you want us to do??? UMMYOUR JOB!!!! We only ordered soup so we got our food quickly. But the people around us waited over an hour for their food. The soup tasted ok... but it was thick and not hot. But the young man that waited on us was amazing, kind and sweet. Read more
The food was very good! The server was awesome and hustling! The cook did a great job on our food! The only reason we gave it a... "3" is they were short staffed on servers and cooks and we waited over an hour for our food after we ordered. Read more
Our experience was disappointing. It was 20 minutes before we were greeted by a server once we were sat. It was an hour after... that before our food arrived. I totally understand that they were understaffed so I am choosing not to complain about the wait.But the food - my husband and daughter got hamburgers. The patties were black, severely overcooked, to the point it resembledleather. My other daughter got chicken and waffles and everything was cold. I got the triple decker club, so no cooking, justassembling. But it came with an odor that we couldn't pinpoint. The fries were piping hot and the bathrooms were relativelyclean, so two good things. If I could give this 0 stars, trust me, I would. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting with brown rings around everything... like they hadn?t cleaned it in a while. The lock refused to close on any of the restroom stalls. There was literally NO serversthere, which is not their fault, but still it was NOT convenient at all. It?s called ?Fast Food? for a reason. I got Chicken AndWaffles, and they both were cold and the waffle looked like it was out for DAYS before we had shown up. My mother got a sandwichand the turkey was quite literally rancid. My father and sister got a burger, and they over cooked it to the point where youcouldn?t even bite through it. Mind you, this all happened after we sat there waiting for an HOUR. Read more
this was terrible the food was bad and they messed up a simple cheeseburger when we said specifically just cheese but they put... everything on it, the ceasar salad had a bitter sour sauce the servers were all mean and rolled their eyes and everytime weasked for something they sighed the waitress bringing everyone to their tables was being mean and had an attitude for no reasonwith our two salads we received no pita bread when it states you get pita bread and the chicken on my ceasar salad tastedrubbery and wet when i bit into it, their bathrooms were terrible and smelled bad they had stuff all over the bathrooms i wouldnot recommend coming here ever and i wouldn?t come back again????
