Wonderful small town restaurant with big-city staff ambition. The employees were attentive, personable and BUSY AS HECK! The... fish was gone early which allowed us to enjoy the ribs and broasted chicken dinners. Highly recommended, they do takereservations and accommodate larger groups. Read more

We stopped in for an early supper. Started with the Nachos, some of the best! Wife had a burger and I had one of their House... sandwiches. The waitress suggested the sour cream and chives fries, excellent. The only downside was a guy at the bar being loudand dropping F bombs. Read more
Happened upon this home town dinner destination with a good friend of mine. Had their boasted chicken special on Wednesday and... had to order a second one to go for my roommate to try - it was incredible. You really can't go wrong here, in the followingtrips I've made I have yet to find a bad item on the menu. Couple this with their outstanding service - the lovely Liz - andaffordable prices and you have a return destination like no other. Highly recommend this local treasure to anyone visiting thearea! Troy Center is lucky to have Barley's. A few decades ago, this was a popular bar with free peanuts. And you threw the shells on... the floor. I popped in to see how they're doing, and they were doing quite well. I believe the building has been eitherremodeled, or refreshed. Sadly, there were no longer peanut shells on the floor, and no free peanuts. BUT. The food was great,service was quick, and their live music (a guitar player with a great voice) was very talented and entertaining. I highlyrecommend it. Read more
