We recently ordered catering from Kesar for a grand Diwali celebration party of 50 nos. Even restaurants that do well on premise... fail with large party/outdoor catering. Kesar exceeded all our expectations with their near perfect taste, variety & quality. We ordered large trays of Soya Chaap, Gobi manchurian, Chana masala, Paneer masala, Veg pulao, Schezhwan noodles. Every traywas abundantly sized, economically priced &deliciously prepared. The soya chaap was a star favorite with many getting fooledthat it was chicken! Special appreciation to the chef Mr. Deepak for his guidance on the menu, considerations towards ourspecial requests. Definitely recommend them for all vegetarian parties. Can't wait to try their Maharaja thali in house next!! Read more

My first visit with my girl friends and we got this magnanimous Maharaja Thali...a must try if you are a group of 4 or 5 people.... It's takes that many people to finish the food the Thali offers. Generous quantity and so many varieties.. pav bhaji, aloo puri,Chole bhature, fafda, khadhi ..both Gujrati and Punjabi, maa ki daal and gulab jamun, malai kofta, spinach corn, ... And I amsure I am missing a few more delicacies that was offered in this plate. Everything was delicious....sarso ka saag... I wish theygave makki ki roti to go with it ...( Insatiable me talking) ..that's not all they sang the birthday song and got the birthday???????????? which was so adorable ????????... ???????? As it's the festive season, they had the diwali decors which isbeautifully done! Highly recommended!! Read more

This is the third time we went to this place and we had the same experience all three time. Their chat and appetizer always... taste good but we are always disappointed with thali. We tried punjabi and kesar special thali and I don?t think it taste freshor worth the money. The service was really good, I wish they can improve on the food quality for thali?s. Read more

Perfect start for the weekend. Friday evenings are the most waited evening in the entire week, you don?t enjoy Saturday and... Sunday more than Friday evening, and you know what makes it more happening, is utterly butterly delicious food and Kesar ismaking sure that you?re going to enjoy every bit of it. First of all I would like to appreciate the cleanliness they havemaintained in the restaurant. The staff is friendly and make sure they make the changes as per the customer demands. Coming tothe main part, for appetizers we started with sev batata poori, kachori chaat and Vada Pav. Mine fav was Kachori chaat. Vada Pavcould have been better. For the main course we ordered two thalis. A Punjabi one and a Rajasthani one. We have a vegan friendwith and that?s where Kesar make it sure to adjust vegetarian options with vegan. I was happy the way they have taken care ofit. They replaced paneer with saag aalu and aalu gobhi. I ordered Rajasthani thali and I was completely satisfied with thetaste. I had the best besan gatte sabji in years and I am making sure I am visiting them soon to enjoy the rest of theitems. For take away we took Jalebi and Emarti. That was fresh and tasty. Thank you for the hospitality and keep serving thebest food. Cheers and love, Amey! Read more

We had the Maharaja thali. Three of us went and it was more than enough for 4 people as they advertise. The service was good,... they informed us that the wait for Maharaja thali was about 35 minutes. We truly appreciate that honesty. Food was tasty. Notall items were hot enough, since it is the cold weather out, we would have appreciated if all items came piping hot. Especiallythe rice and few sides were super cold. We understand that Maharaja platter consists of all their Platter versions, Gujarati,Rajasthani, Punjabi etc. So, maybe that is the reason few items were pre-prepared along with those prior platter orders :)Anyways, its a good experience.
