Breakfast spot with designer style bagels and different varieties of cream cheese. I had The Tandem Classic on an Everything... Bagel and the Siracha Maple on the Hot & Spicy. All the flavor components were present and the taste was great but there wasbarely no cream cheese on either of the sandwiches. They also do not cut the bagels in half for you like most bagel shops do sowhen you go to cut them yourself all the toppings are sliding off and it becomes a mess before you can even take the first bite.I've also tried the Iced Coffee and their Iced Latte and both tasted subpar . I would've given 5 stars and overlooked themediocre coffee because it is a bagel shop, but the minimal thin layer of cream cheese and not cutting the bagels in half tomake it easy for people to share or just enjoy it without having to remake the sandwich. I Have always enjoyed our dozen bagels and my specialty caramel iced latte for a special weekend treat. Today, a Saturday, and ... after the AM rush I was very disappointed with my experience. I ordered a plain toasted bagel with honey walnut cream cheese andmy caramel latte. My latte was perfect, received in less than 5 minutes, however I waited for 23 minutes for my toasted bagel. Iwas not pleased. My coffee was 3/4?s of the way finished! So I took the bagel to go, and when I finally had a bite, it barelytoasted at all! What is with this? Offer to toast a bagel, not tell a customer of a 20+ minute wait. Has the service gone downhill with the opening of additional Tandem locations? After this, I will be reconsidering Tandem for my weekend choice oftreats. Read more
The bagels are good, and they have many unique flavors. They're crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The inside is soft... & dense as opposed to soft & airy, but I still very much enjoyed it. My wife liked her Bagel sandwich and said it was too bigfor her to finish. She said their iced coffee was also very good. Overall, this is a very good fresh Bagel option if you'rebuying single, half dozen, or a dozen bagels. They also have flavored cream cheese. I often order from Tandem and I generally really like the food however, amount of meat they put on a sandwich is often... inconsistent (one slice of meat isn't really sufficient). Also, they rarely toast the bagels when you mark for them to betoasted. I also have a big issue with ordering "to go" orders. Personal information should never be listed on the receipt. Itis a big privacy issue when anyone can grab your phone number and email address from looking at your order. Read more
