Much improved service compared to the last couple visits. It's apparent that waitstaff numbers have increased significantly. The... deck was fully occupied; I counted four servers for the tables which was more than adequate. Our server was engaging,knowledgeable, and attentive. Food and drinks arrived promptly and piping hot. Burger still the best in the area, and the bbq isdependably fantastic. The August drink specials that we had were outstanding and unique. Really nice spot during the spring, fall, and winter after freshly fallen snow. The view over the valley is quite nice. The... restaurant has become a smoke house and they do a good job. I have been coming here for years. The food, the view and the service have always been great. The ownership changed a few years... back. The menu changed to primarily barbeque, removing many of thier best dishes. I continued to go, the food and the viewremain exceptional however the service has been terrible. I was there a week ago and had a really bad experience. We wereignored by our server, having to track her down to check on an appetizer ordered 45 minutes ago. She was full of apologiessaying she was just asking the kitchen about it. It finally arrived. After waiting another 30 minutes and still no entree wedecided to ask for the check, cancelling our entrees. The manager or owner ( not sure who she is) came over with a veryinsincere apology. This is the second time I have had this same experience and will not be going back. Very sad as it used tobe one of my favorite places to go for a bite. What a shame :( Read more
Great warm beet salad!! Just amazing. Salmon dinner to follow it up...5 stars is not high enough...spectacular view also.
Looking forward to coming back! Having to compete with carryout orders for dine and dash really pushed the kitchen staff to it's... limits. As dine in customers, that meant we waited longer than expected. Worth the wait though! The beer on tap was excellentand the food was delicious!
