The drinks were really good! The enchiladas were better than the tacos and nachos.
I enjoyed the place in Mentor so tried the 1 closer to me. I like the option to sit inside or outside. Being a nice high 70s day... we went for outside. The lights come on after dark on the patio which is super cute. The service is super quick and our waiterwas very friendly. He even took a photo for us when we asked. He made sure our drinks were never empty. The chips and salsa werealright. I got the chicken taco fajita salad and he got the chicken quesadilla. Mine was good and it was interesting to come outI'm a taco shell shape instead of a bowl. The rice and beans came out on the side with my salad which was nice because normallyyou don't get these sides with the fajita salad. The beans usually are on the bottom and I enjoyed putting as much or as littleas I wanted in it. We also got dessert with me fried ice cream and him cheesecake. They came out looking amazing and decorated.They don't skimp on the whipped cream, which is my favorite part. Only complaint is the shell to the fried ice cream tastedfunny. Almost like soap! So I didn't eat it. I only ate the ice cream inside. He loved his cheesecake though and dug in before Icould get a picture. $45 spent on 2 dinners, 2 desserts, and 1 soda. Food was delicious, but we went out to the back patio - the music was playing loud, over the speakers, & there were 2 groups of... people who were day drinking - they chose to very loudly yell at each other, across the dining area for conversation. We had tomove back inside the restaurant, to be able to hear ourselves speak to one another. 3 times, a waiter dropped items on the wayout the door to the patio. We had a great experience at Don Tequilias. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They have an awesome outdoor... seating area that is perfect for summer nights in Ohio. The food was served fast and was tasty. Our server made sure we alwayshad a full bowl of chips for our queso and salsa. We will definitely be going back again this summer. Read more

Authentic Mexican restaurant in Willoughby/East Lake area. I enjoyed their fresh guacamole, which will be prepared just in front... of you. Their salsa and chips were also good. They serve a generous amount of food. I loved it. Read more
Went here for ???? Tuesday but for this to be a Mexican restaurant I was disappointed in the taco deal options. 5 tacos for... $5.99 beef only then we had to ask for the add ons separately. No other specials for seafood or chicken tacos and no meatalternatives for those of us that do not eat meat. Then our server was not English proficient resulting in our order to be allwrong. This expirence was not a good one which is disappointing cause I've been here several times and had great food andservice. Read more
1st time to try this place. The service was terrific. The chips and salsa were nice too. The Margheritas were delicious but... small for the price. The taco Tuesday beef tacos were good. I got the coconut shrimp....not good at all. The rice and salad weregood but the shrimp was rubbery and dry. They also added 3 grilled shrimp to my plate and I do not know why??? May try thisplace again but Much better Mexican food is just down the street. Read more
