This is my first time at this location. I think the food prices were on par with a restaurant of this caliber. The food itself... was good and well presented. The restaurant was clean. The only reason I did not give this restaurant a 5-star rating is becausethe person serving us did not understand English. We had to call someone else over in order to make sure our food was orderedproperly. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with anyone who is not American or who does not speak English. I just think thatin the situation where you are serving the public you should make sure that your staff can communicate well. I would recommendgoing to this place if you want some real Mexican food. Chips and salsa to start were good. Had a blue razzberry margarita and spicy pineapple margarita. Both were excellent! Enjoyed a... steak grilled stuff spicy burrito topped with chorizo! Stay away from the Mexican water though. Read more
Authentic Mexican cuisine! Great service, food came out hot and not a long wait! Waitress was fantastic!!
Great food. #45 and #60. Fajitas and enchiladas with a few Negra Models. Clean establishment, good service, and decent prices.... It doesn't matter if it's a weekday or weekend, I recommend this place to visit. Read more

Visited El Palanque for the first time on an early Tuesday evening. I only ever order fajitas at Mexican restaurants and was... pleasantly surprised to see that their steak and chicken fajitas were a special that evening. My meal came and it was dried outlooking and tasting chicken and steak with a few slices of onion and green pepper which I thought was how their version ispresented. I was almost done eating when several people near me were served fajitas that came hot, smoking, sizzling andsmelled wonderful. I asked my dining partner if my food looked like that when it came out and she said absolutely not. I askedour server why my meal looked so blah compared to others and he said because it was a special they get slammed so they need toprepare the meat and veggies ahead of time. Mine obviously sat around for quite a long time before being served to me and thenthey cooked fresh to order when the precooked meat ran out. I felt very cheated. Server also charged me the regular priceinstead of the special price...I had the error corrected. When I cashed out, I mentioned my meal presentation to the cashierwho really could have cared less. Then she charged me for two meals instead of one. After getting very snippy with me when Ibrought that to her attention, she decided not to charge me for my meal but she was not happy about it. Just went for our first time. Delicious! I had the street tacos (the spicy salsa on the side is really spicy!), Others in my... group had an assortment of other things, all said theirs was excellent as well. Salsa and chips are outstanding as well andthey kept us well stocked with both. Will be back, and highly recommend. Read more
5 star all around. Servers are friendly and speedy. Food is consistent for every order each time I have went. It is my go to for... this type of food 1x a week. They do a nice job celebrating people's birthdays of all ages. Specials vary on each day of theweek. Read more
