What a great place! Awesome food and a relaxing, attractive setting. Lots of comfortable places to sit both inside and... outside. Has a great old world look. We had a scrumptious sandwich and a quiche special that was to die for! Read more

Good, not great, relatively high end restaurant in Easton, MD. Great place to go if you have tickets to the Avalon Theater... (right across the street). Reservations highly recommended. Started off with Fritte Misto which was not done very well.Calamari was so over fried it was unrecognizable. Veggies not much better. Both of us had salads with a protein (Ceasar withshrimp and a house with chicken). Both of them were really well done. Waitstaff was super friendly. Recommended. Read more

Pleasantly surprised by Hunter’s Tavern. (We didn’t have a lot of choice as to which restaurant to go to this weekend, since... it was Labor Day and a lot of other places were closed.) Usually when you go to restaurants within hotels, it’s a crapshoot asto whether or not it will be good. The highlight for me was definitely the cream of crab soup. So creamy and light and tasty! The crab and artichoke dip was also lovely and hot and tasty and what you’d expect from a good dip. The friedchicken/watermelon salad wasn’t as pretty as I wished but it was huge and tasty - even though the chicken looked pedestrian,it actually wasn’t. The breading was light and the flavors were well balanced. My husband thought the side of salmon that camewith the salad was exceptionally well executed (and it was very well cooked, not overdone, tender and well balance) so Iwouldn’t disagree. Sounds like the seafood here does not disappoint! Lastly, my Minty/club soda/watermelon cocktail wasdisappointing because i was hoping to get more of a fresh watermelon flavor from it (I barely tasted watermelon) BUT it was atthe same time a pleasant surprise because the bartender did not skimp on the booze! Chef’s Kiss to the Hunter’s Tavern Made quick reservations online and was seated quickly. The service was outstanding and... the food could have been in Eastern Shores best magazine with its presentation and flavor combinations. We ordered 5 dishesand each was better than the next. Highly recommended for couples who like fine food, for friends if you like to drink andfamily if you want to stay in the hotel. Hats off and napkins on at the Hunters Tavern. Read more

Delish crabcake platter and white sangria for an early dinner tonight. The roasted vegetable ravioli was also yummy. And don't... pass on the street corn flatbread appetizer! Plenty of atmosphere at the Tavern. Read more
