This is insane. It blew my expectations out the park. THIS is what I've been looking for and what you've been looking for.... Everything seasoned amazingly. I don't even like collard greens yet I kept going at these. The corn bread tasted like it hadcrack in it (don't worry they don't) and just wow to everything else. Fantastic place to eat. Was in the area for a sporting event and we like to find local places to eat. This place did not... disappoint. Fast friendly service. The chicken and waffles were some of the best we ever had! The collards were outstandingwith just the right amount of spice! Fried fish and shrimp were amazing! Very welcoming vibe in this establishment. Customer service is great. I ordered a ?shrimp seafood pot? The potatoes was were... soft and seasoned welled. The corn was soft and also seasoned well. Those two items were full of flavor. The sausages taste likeboiled hot dogs. The shrimp I was given had no flavor. Kind of taste like they took it out a big pot of boiled water shrimp andjust threw it on top of the platter. For $15, I feel 5 pieces of shrimp is not enough. This platter deserve 5 more pieces. Omg Omg found a closer soul food spot use to drive way out to Plainfield NJ or stroudsburg pa and live in phillipsburg about 15... minutes away from this spot. My tastebuds found a home and loved every thing on this plate.WELL SEASONED I didn't have to addanything.I was dancing the food was so good mmm mmmm mmmm brought me back to my grandmother's cooking but she livesdownsouth.
