What a lovely little bakery in the wall (and tent at the farmers market). The two women who run this place are absolute gems and... make absolute gems in the form of pastries, pies, and other goodies. They also make a mean chai latte. Everything I've boughtfrom here has crushed the competition. Living, literally, around the corner from here is constant temptation, and I love it. Gohere, buy baked goods, enjoy, repeat. Read more

Whether savory or sweet, their pastries are everything good pies should be. I've not had a single unsatisfactory item. Every... time I go I either bring a family member or take things to share and it's always gobbled up with delight. Read more

Stopped in at the store. It's a wonder that they get anything done, it's so small, but the results they have are spectacular. I... tried a turnover (sweet) and hand pie (savory). Both outstanding . Best bet is to order in advance. They do a big business atthe Open Air Market on Saturdays. Read more

Definitely a big surprise! I came from LA to visit my girlfriend in Easton and tbh Pie+Tart is better than every bakery store I... tried in LA. The filling is not too sweet and every flavor is worth trying (though we just chose two yesterday after lunch.) Isaw a gentleman with Pie + Tart bag and waited for his pie. After my first bite, I can totally understand why he bought the bagwit him! Read more

To quote the great Paula Dean, ?I don?t want to spend my life not having good food going into my pie hole. That hole was made... for pies.?... And this this delightful little nook in downtown Easton sure does fill it right, both literally in terms of piesand as accurately in terms of physical space. Also.... Secret Pie Society, yes please. TL:DR - You will not regret the Secret Pie Society - Magnificent!! To be clear a rarely write reviews, but felt the desire to... share this hidden gem with y'all... Specifically, though not exclusively, this review is about the Secret Pie Society from Pie+Tart, one of the BEST subscriptions I have participated in over the last year. Lisa and Anne are creative and thoughtful intheir selections of recipes. Taking from history and from their own catalog of pies, both sweet and savory. Each month I racedto their delightful Easton store, even during the lockdown, yes there were some adjustments needed, to pick up the mysterioustreat. If it is any indicator of my love of these splendid creations, is that we moved to Gettysburg this year and I still finda way to collect the scrumptious creations every month. The SPS is a great gift, as I found out for Christmas 2020. It was thecatalyst for me to continue for an additional 12 months. I wanted, nay NEEDED, more of their concoctions. Has every pie been afavorite of mine? Well of course not, don't be silly....though to be clear EVERY pie was fully consumed, we've a variety ofpalettes in our family. Regardless of individual tastes, every pie has been masterfully crafted, with great detail given to thebalance of flavors, textures and presentation. I feel I must add one exemplary examples of the SPS... Grape Pie They ONLYmake this one for SPS, as it is shockingly labor intensive, but was one of the standouts of this year. I would have a photo, butsome how it just seemed to vanish, not unlike a Drop Bear, before any shots could be taken. What has been the most enjoyable, okay SECOND most enjoyable, has been the story behind the pies. Every month Lisa and Anne include an explanation of the originsof the pie. I know nothing of pastry origins so having these stories added to the enjoyment. I have prattled on for much longerthan originally expected. In short, the SPS is THE subscription. Not only do you get incred Read more

Heaven for your taste buds, this pie and tart shop is a neighborhood gem. There are so many delicious choices, you can?t go... wrong. The handheld Aussie meat pie was fantastic, and I have a freezer full of more to try. Coffee options , savory and sweetpies, friendly service, adorable setup. It?s street parking with only two seats inside, so more of a pickup and go setup butmore than worth your time. Read more
