My husband and I are camping nearby and after reading the reviews, we decided to have dinner here last night. This is a... hole-in-the-wall bar/restaurant in the small town of Eau Clare. I don't know if they were shortstaffed last night, but the guyworking the bar and waiting on tables at the same time was wonderful. He was very sweet and accommodating. He did a great jobrunning both. The food was amazing! I had the cheeseburger with olives and my husband had a cheeseburger. We shared thedelicious fries. Soooo good! The burgers here are amazing! The bartenders are also the cooks, they work extremely hard and they care about the food they... serve. This is a place where you can get great food, have a lot of laughs and feel right at home. Read more

Surprised us! Server/cook (owner?) was awesome. Food was VERY good for a small town diner. My 10 year old can't wait to go back... for another chicken sandwich. All 6 of us ordered something different and we all enjoyed our meal thoroughly. We were a littlenervous about our welcome as the place seemed mostly filled with locals grabbing a drink after work. We were made to feel verywelcome and look forward to going back.
