There were lots of creative & unique items ordered. However none that we would order again - none that we loved. Steer clear of... surf and turf. Ouch. Server was friendly. Seating on wooden church bench was very uncomfortable. Restaurant was muggy feeling asopposed to most places where u need a sweater. Best item was prob the catfish fingers, but they should have been fried longer. Iexpected more from an expensive place that’s only open 17 hours a week. Read more
Lovely atmosphere. The food is absolutely worth the price. It is pricey, but the flavor explosion is of epic proportions. The... alcoholic drink menu is also superb and offers some of the best flavored drinks I've had at a restaurant. The staff is alsoextremely hospitable. Tessa did a great job, allowing adequate time between visits and offering complementary conversations.This is the highest quality restaurant in Eau Claire. Read more
The food here is amazing! The entrée portions are quite large, so although the average price for an entrée is about $27, it... easily feeds two people (and I like to eat). This makes entrée sharing easy, or you will have another delicious meal waitingfor you to enjoy as leftovers later on. The hours are pretty limited, which is why I haven't been able to get there untilearlier this month. The atmosphere is nice, but there doesn't seem to be a need to dress up. I wore jeans and fit right in.Others I saw dressed a little nicer, but not crazy fancy. Think supper club attire if you are worried about what to wear. Thefront of the restaurant has a bar and high table seating, and the back has normal chairs/benches and tables. There is also anice outside seating area. Order the corn bread and pass on most other dishes. We had ordered several dishes to share in our group. Mac & cheese was beyond... over salted. Crab and Cajon dip was over powered with what I believe is Mayo, I barely touched it. They had posted on the bottomof each page that you're responsible to pay for each item ordered so I didn't bother bringing up to the server. She was nice andrunning around everywhere, just terrible food. Check it out for a drink but have a meal elsewhere is my recommendation. Read more
Oh my goodness what an experience! Appetizer.... I ordered the oysters, they were very good but they needed one thing done to... them before they were served. They need to be broiled for at least a minute! Then they will be perfect! I had Steak in red winesauce with scallops in white cheese sauce with steamed green beans and mashed potatoes OMG it was amazing!! The choices ofdessert is phenomenal! OMG THIS PLACE IS FANTASTIC. Small, quiet little place, but VERY good!! The Smoky Mango Habanero Old Fashion was my FAVORITE!!... Their Oysters were amazing, too - got 3 orders of 6 LMFAO. I'd definitely go back for sure. Glad I checked this place out..... Read more
7 years ago, I went on my first date with my fiance here. We had a great meal with some of the best flavor in this area.... Yesterday we went back and I was disappointed in the decline in quality from a food standpoint (We got the swordfish specialand bourbon pasta). The service was excellent. If you've never been here before I would still recommend this restaurant in aheartbeat as this area is a food desert for anything that isn't bar food. Specifically my bourbon pasta dish was essentially abourbon soup with pasta on top, which resulted in my leftover box becoming soggy after a few hours, it leaked but thankfully ouramazing server plastic wrapped the box (thank you).
