We stumbled upon this place via Google, trying to find somewhere in Eddyville to eat lunch that was local. The young man that... waited on us was so friendly and helpful in picking menu items. I got the Tinga tacos, which were so incredibly flavorful. Thetortillas were homemade and delicious. My husband got the Carne asada burrito which was HUGE and crammed full, it definitelywasn't lacking flavor or meat, rice, or beans! We also got 2 tamales to try, one cheese tamale and then per the young man'srecommendation the Roja, which was his mom's favorite. We definitely enjoyed eating here! Stop here and eat to your heart's content today! I love Mexican food and I think La Piñata has the best Mexican food I have... ever tasted. Lengua, al Pastor and chorizo tacos were fantastic. Fantastic food and customer service! Takeout only available but they do have 3 outside tables and a nice park is within sight... from the restaurant. The food is freshly made and is authentic Mexican. We enjoyed everything we got. You will not bedisappointed the food is amazing and you will be supporting a family owned local establishment.
