Old Chicago is one of those great place that unfortunately are slowly fading out. We used to have several close by and, sadly,... many of them have closed. This location is no exception though! Great place for lunch or dinner with the whole family or have acouple drinks with friends while watching the game. Old Chicago has something for everyone! Their pizza is one of a kind but ifpizza isn't your thing, they have a menu full of other great choices! Old Chicago is one of our favorite places and I hope thisone won't be going anywhere! I went in for a fancy dinner with my family, meeting new friends Old Chicago Pizza was touted as a very good pizza place and by... golly did I want to try it for the longest of time, we started off with the Sicilian Pepperoni rolls as an appetiser while wewaited on our pizzas. I personally went for the Double Deckeroni with a thick crust and it was to die for, the spice level wasperfect and the sauce was delicious, costing everything evenly with that cheesy Parmesan mix. I also tried a Halloween Mix,namely their Ectoplasm drink while my boyfriend had the other one. Service was great albeit slow, but not to the fault of thestaff, the place was just packed to bits full, as it seems like a very popular joint! Overall I’ve enjoyed it thoroughly! Read more

Literally the best pizza we've had in our life. We got the large hand tossed crust, extra cheese, pepperoni and mushrooms.... Probably didn't need the extra cheese because of how much cheese that was on it(not complaining at all) nice quiet dining areaand excellent service. Highly recommend this place. Read more

Since moving back to Mpls from Chicago a couple years ago, I have been looking for a good pizza place. I was hopeful with OCP... based on pics and reviews. Pizza looks amazing. I wish it tasted as good. I was quite disappointed in the sauce ? thin andlacking any true flavor. My search continues. Also would like to make note that service was pretty slow and inattentive. This is our go to stop for late nights after 10 pm…great selection of food, specially vegetarian options, good option for... beverages, ample amount of space for small and big groups, multiple options to find a seat for your choice, bar, booth, patio,regular tables…good price point and most importantly, it opens late night which we prefer. We been to this place multipletimes and never been dissatisfied or disappointed, great service all the time no matter how much it’s crowded. Try theirmushroom starter and artichoke dip. Decent food. Atmosphere was fine. It's what you'd expect for a sports bar. Used to be better like 10+ years ago before all the... changes. I love this place. Disappointed they took the Black & blue bourbon burger off the menu. (Black & blue cheese crumbles with... bourbon sauce, bacon and sautéed onions). The burger was still amazing. Bummed our waiter did not offer how I wanted my burgerdone (I would have asked medium/rare).. unsure if that’s not an option. Either way— the food was excellent. As a server I have really low standards of service and know there’s a learning curve for this industry. I’m understanding of... mistakes and don’t like writing bad reviews. But I had a rude service experience here and feel as though people should beaware. I got there before two friends did, we’re all 21+ so I ordered a beer while I waited. The bartender was great andprofessional (the only reason this isn’t a one star review), and I was impressed by their selection of beers. Once my friendsshowed up I offered a taste of it to them, and I truly thought nothing of it since they’re both over 21 and have had drinkswith them many times. The manager (a woman with silver hair) rudely told us to put the beer down until they all could getcarded. They all showed their IDs and she left, but I overheard her talking about us to a coworker afterward. We were botheredby the way this was handled since we’re all in the service industry and have management experience. I asked to speak to herabout the interaction and she continued to be rude, even when I was simply looking to diffuse the tension around amisunderstanding. She told me that she apologized (she didn’t) and that we should close out our tabs and leave. I’ve neverhad an interaction like this and frankly don’t think the manager needed to handle it, especially given that the only thing wedid wrong was give a sip of beer to someone before being carded— which was solved immediately by them showing their valid IDs.We told her that she could’ve stopped us in a friendlier way but she made it obvious that she wasn’t interested in receivingfeedback or even apologizing.
