Nice food, and a lot of positives about this place, but we ordered the rib eye and they were out of the marrow that comes with... it. When we complained we were told the marrow was just a garnish. Take a look at the photos of the rib eye on here and judgefor yourself -- it's a major component of the dish. It's understandable that ingredients run out, but this was a material changeto what was ordered. The flippant attitude about it was off-putting. Read more
Fantastic waterfront location with a great coastal casual vibe. Have to mention the French fries are tremendous and served in a... huge bowl. Our waiter, Vlad, was very friendly and took care of everything. We were there on a warm day and sat in the bar wherethe breezes cooled us off and made for a very relaxing respite. Most delicious food, best atmosphere and excellent customer service!
Underwhelming fish and chop house. First we were sat by speakers. When we asked to be moved, it was quieter?until we had to... start yelling at each other to be heard. Our drinks took a while to get. Unfortunately, our entrees took even longer?an hour and15 minutes longer (let me also preface this, we were the first seating of the night so if wasn?t packed. We watched severaltables get their meal before us who sat down well after us.). For entrees - Moroccan Cod: amazing seasoning, moist, greatdish Osso bucco: AH-mazing. Not surprising this is a patron favorite. Whole branzino: Flakey, flavorful. Solid dish. Filet aupoivre: so this was ESPECIALLY DISAPPOINTING. This is a chop house. We requested medium rare/more so rare. It came out mediumwell, barely medium on the inside. It took so long so get the meal, sending it back was not even an option. Overall, lacklustermeal. I?ve been going to the Atlantic for many years and the food has always been delicious. When we went back this year for dinner,... we were blown away by our meal. The menu is even better now than it has been in previous seasons. On top of that, the staff istruly superb. They are extremely attentive and provided us with a wonderful experience. I happened to leave my phone at therestaurant and had to return to find it. I called ahead to see if anyone had stumbled upon it, but no luck. When I arrived tolook for it myself, multiple members of the staff immediately helped me search. From the hostesses, to the servers, to themanager, everyone did their best to get it back to me. They practically turned the place upside down to find it, even though itwas still busy. They went above and beyond! I?m so appreciative and I can?t praise them enough. This place will always be myfavorite for a nice dinner on Martha?s Vineyard! Read more
October birthdays' family celebration! Friendly atmosphere and excellent food and service! Crackling pork shank was flavorful... and moist and the slice of chocolate mousse cake fed 6 people! Couldn't ask for more! Read more
This may be our favorite restaurant on the island, especially when you can get a seat outside overlooking Edgartown Harbor. Food... is always excellent and prepared well. Had the Sirloin, gratin potatoes and lobster salad on a recent visit, and everything wasdelicious. One downside: Because it's good, it is often super busy and they don't take reservations, so we always try to be onthe early side when dining here -- or be prepared for a lengthy wait! Read more
You?d expect a beautiful location such as the Atlantic?s to attract enough tourists to be able to relax on the quality of food... and/or service but not so! The impeccably trained server was lovely and attentive and the food was great. The kale salad wascopious and the grilled chicken well prepared. My husband?s croissant lobster was fresh and light.
