My girlfriend and I got breakfast here while on the island, and despite being the most expensive breakfast we've ever had, we... had to go back again the next day for more. The mushroom toast was one of the best things I've ever eaten in my life. If I evergo back to Martha's Vineyard, getting to eat that mushroom toast again will be a major motivating factor. Read more

My family and I came here for breakfast this morning, thinking that it would be a cute and casual place to enjoy breakfast.... However, I was incredibly disappointed with almost everything about this place. The prices were outrageous for what theyoffered. A greasy breakfast platter was $24 for some fried eggs and sausages with a couple of limp greens for decoration. Thefood wasn't even served on plates, everything was given in cardboard boxes and plastic cups. My sister ordered the "granolabowl" for $16, and what she received was a little yogurt parfait in a plastic cup that looks like something you'd get forbreakfast in a hospital. We ended up paying $100+ for 4 people and it was easily the worst place we went to for breakfast duringthe 3 days we stayed on the island. The coffee was pretty good, but the chai latte tasted incredibly bland. There was no spiceflavor or sweetness, it just tasted like milk. For such high prices, I expected the food to be served on plates at the veryleast. There was absolutely nothing special other than the atmosphere, but even that was not worth the price tag. I recommendgoing to Among the Flowers for a similar floral and nature-y atmosphere, and Rosewater Market also has great food and coffee. Donot waste your money here. Read more

The grilled shrimp was delicious. However, sacrilegious to "batter fry" lobster - don't do that again! Quite fanciful and witty... drink menu. The four-legged pepe le pew visitors were totally unexpected; I trust they're tame???????????????????? Read more

Beautiful experience and we enjoyed all of our food. Expectations weren?t met on everything so giving 4/5. Service: Friendly,... informed waitress. Attentive runners and bussers. Cocktails: very interesting, some were better than others. Summer BurrataSalad: burrata and toast were delicious but this salad is 90% tomatoes, too many for us. Could have used more oil and maybe alittle acid. A Lobster Tale (fried lobster): seasoning in the batter takes away from the lobster a little. I was surprised tosee that the lemons were also battered. Missed the capers that were supposed to come with. The tarter sauce was amazing. Wouldhave this again. Seared white fish: expected the dish to be more composed instead of just four elements presented separately onthe plate. All the elements were tasty and fresh. Couscous was very flavorful but needed a bit of sauce - the pesto was on theplate but too stiff, would have been better if it were thinner and pourable as a sauce. The corn was bright and juicy but therewere huge slices of practically raw garlic in it. Very generous portion of fish! Corn had tomatoes in it. Seared ScallopLinguine: I anticipated a sauce with more body since the menu described it as lobster bisque sauce. It was thin and served on aplate of sorts so a little hard to eat. Very good flavor and the three scallops were seared to perfection and wonderful. Thepasta itself was over cooked. This dish also had tomatoes. Overall, too many tomatoes, haha! Would likely return. Lovelyatmosphere and staff. Read more

Used to be great, but lost its star chef and declined. Still has good espresso and latte art but the food isn't great (e.g.... waffles are spongy and eggs are cooked through). Still a beautiful patio behind a bookstore though. Read more
