As a local, I was challenged to find some freshly steamed crabs since many businesses have closed, so I luckily discovered Cox... Creek Crab on-line. Janet and Todd's customer service was friendly and responsive, the crabs were perfectly cooked (tender andmoist), and even the early corn was surprisingly sweet. Note that the business is run out of a food truck behind a 7/11 inEdgewater, so look for their American flag. I look forward to returning for more when they're open between Thursday throughSunday. Memorial Day Weekend. The crab panic set in and I needed big fresh crabs for my daughter?s 20th bday. After several calls to... area crab sellers, I went to Cox Creek. Can I give a ten star review for bushel of live crabs to steam at home ?!!!! The service from this family company was prompt,... courteous, and they went out of their way for me as as a customer. The crabs in the ?mixed ? bushel were , the biggest and bestcrabs that I have had in years. As a lifelong annapolitain, I have been eating a lot of Louisiana crabs over the last fewyears, so it made me and my family very happy to enjoy the huge meaty crabs that cox creek team sold us. THIS is the place to go for crabs! It was our last day in town for a reunion and we only had a matter of hours before catching a... plane home. Cox Creek posts their pricing on FB (also available by phone) to make it easy to decide what to order. Veryconvenient location and a quick drive from downtown Annapolis. Pod was super helpful and they had the crabs ready early forus. So we had 2.5 hours for 6 of us to devour a 1/2 bushel of #1 males before showering* and heading to the airport. They wereall heavy, fat crabs, sweet and delicious! Perfection! Highly recommend! *Also recommend at least a change of clothes beforegetting on a crowded airplane. Maryland crabs are messy and Old Bay is pungent! Read more
