Another restaurant suggested by a friend. Unsuspecting restaurant that looks like a house on the outside, and real intimate on... the inside. Very nice waitress, the only one in the place. Only one cook this evening advised us to order as the restaurant wasfilling up. Started off with a Shirley temple. Ordered cream of crab soup and as you can see lots of lump crab, unfortunatelynot fresh. Hit it with the old bay and that helped. Ordered a broiled seafood platter with $8 up charge for lump crab. Shouldhave stayed with the back fin. The crabmeat was not fresh. Ok the stringbeans were tasty. Tasted canned. My broiled platter wasreally wet. I don't believe the cook had any seasoning in the kitchen, because the food was very bland. My girlfriend got herplatter fried. My kid had fried mozzarella, Buffalo wings and fries. We walked in and was waiting on my nephew. They would not seat us and said he could not sit at our table once he got there.... There was no line, no waiting, and no customer service. Headed over to crab shack. I understand that you may not want to seat ifwaiting on several but just one? It is so refreshing to sit in and dine at such a nice quaint quality family owned restaurant where the food is excellent. This... was my first time dining at Edgewater Seafood Restaurant in Annapolis on Mayo Road. Debbie was our server and she was abovereproach with her customer service. She was the most charming waitress that we have had the pleasure of engaging with in quitesome time. Debbie was very helpful with the menu suggestion as well as her friendliness. The food was reasonably priced. Theatmosphere was very comfortable and the staff were incredibly professional as well as friendly. I would highly recommend thisplace. We ordered the double crabcake platter and the cream of crab soup as an appetizer. They were both the best that we haveever had. The portions were generous. We will definitely be returning to Edgewater Seafood Restaurant. Thank you Debbie for sucha pleasurable experience. I truly wish I could give more than 5 stars. Read more

We went on a night with many empty tables, but for some reason we were seated right next to someone else. We ended up chatting... and having a great time, but it was kind of a strange seating decision. Our waitress asked if we were ready to order about 4times in 10 minutes, but then we waited a while for our food. I think the menu could have had more options. The food wasalright.
