Hello I went alone to this Edgewater location, hoping for the typical American kindness, and they say "committed to guests well... being" in GT. I waited one min as the bartender was doing stuff, it was like an hour before closing, there was basically nobodythere except for one table of drinkers where one of the workers was sitting; there was also a guy sitting drinking at the bar,when finally the lady came, I said hello and she emitted no sound, which is ok, as she smiled, she immediately went inside thekitchen without me knowing what was happening or if she would serve me or not. After like 9 min which seemed 90, she finallyasked me what I wanted , I asked if I could please try one draft that I never had before, I liked it, then I asked if the onewith the turtle handle was bitter, she said what and I repeated, then she said something like she couldn't do this, and leftagain out of sight; another server came, who happened to be the guy that was drinking at the bar, later I saw these two were GFand bf as they were kissing and hugging a lot, I payed almost seven dollars for a small plastic cup of Octoberfest Samuel Adamsand I left a tip, ; I told the guy that if her GF doesn't wanna serve me it's alright, I just hope I never ever in my lifeencounter this level of boring people, like what happened? Good pub type food. They have gluten free bun option for their burgers.

Service was good, but place was nearly empty. Food was very good. All four in my party were very happy with their order. Two of... us got burgers, one got a cheesesteak, and the other a buffalo chicken sandwich. Oh, and the Onion Rings were excellent! 6/20/22 I’ve been to many of The Greene Turtle locations in Maryland, but out of all of them, this location is superior. Their... food is always fresh, the service is on point, there is always space somewhere at the bar or near the bar and they make greatcocktails. Our bartender was Mason and he must’ve been the only person working the front at the time because he was waiting onthe bars, tables and hosting at the front, but he was hustling, polite and making sure we all had what we needed. There areplenty of TVs for sports games, a dart board and outdoor seating. The beer is always fresh and my favorite menu item is theRockfish bites. They also make a killer crab dip that comes with pretzel rods. I do have one recommendation to the managementand that would be to clear up the taste of their water. It tastes very chlorinated, but I am not sure what can be done aboutthat. Other than that, a great bar to go to watch games, get appetizers and have a cold drink. Read more

Had a surprise party for my BF there this past weekend. The food was great the staff was even greater! The were so friendly and... accommodating. They were short handed and the manager Ryan was cooking and prepping in the kitchen. Mad props to him. A managerthat can do/and will do everything is a true asset. He deserves a raise! Been in the restaurant business before so I appreciateall he can and did do. I'm the middle of cooking prepping and running the store he ran to wose to get us more plates for ourfood. The drinks I had were great last night. The pork nachos were great. Wish it was more spread about all the chips but they were... still good. The crab cake burger thing was really delicious. Happy hour is awesome. Great and friendly staff. The food choices are pub masterpieces and the atmosphere is great. This is a... wonderful place to watch sports and you can get your on personal TV at a table if you want. Great place to get some junk food atlater hrs and kick back after working a miserable job. Had a free Veteran's Day appetizer: crab dip and pretzels. Wife had Rockfish Bites. Both appetizers were excellent, and server... was very good as well. Crab dip is usually $14 and Rockfish bites are usually $9, not cheap, but not real expensive either. Rockbites were fried with a batter covering, and came with a somewhat sour tartar sauce. My only complaint is that the din of thebig screen TV's drowned out the little speakers on our tabletop TV screen. I will possibly come here for next Veteran's Day.
