Pittsburgh Blue is a traditional American steak house with a nice interior and a welcoming bar. This restaurant is very popular... so we recommend making a reservation. We went there with some friends and were very impressed with literally everything - theambience, the staff (courteous and professional), the wine menu, the cocktails, and the food. Even the restrooms werespecial. We opted for fish and steaks, and the prime rib. The prime rib is in a league of its own, we can highly recommend it.The steaks come in many different sizes and we are pretty sure there is an option for every steak-lover. In addition to steaks,there is an extensive list of fish options, and we enjoyed that too. The wine list is great, and the prices high but fair. Wewill definitely come back again. Read more
Exceeded my expectations. We get cow from a farmer and home steaks are the best. This steakhouse rivals the best steaks I've... ever had. Cooked to perfection. The sides (had asparagus, creamed spinach and fried) were great. The bread was to die for! Read more
Food excellent. Service excellent. I recommend making reservations via open table. we dined later Sunday evening at 7:45pm and... place was not full at all so we really had great attention from staff and food came out quickly. Just a tip. I noticed lamblollipops on app menu but we always get the calamari as app since it's so good. They bring you a basket of bread first thing.And I knew I would be getting their famous Hashbrown Blue so I decided to get the lamb lollipops as my entrée and even thoughit's meant to be app portion I was so full I only could eat half of them! So if you like lamb this can be an option and waitersaid folks have done that before since they have no other option for lamb chops on dinner side. The lamb pops are Mediterraneanstyle with sun dried tomatoes and capers and balsamic Glace drizzle. YUM! Read more

My husband and I went for a belated Valentine's Day dinner and were Not Disappointed! Have been to this location several times... and also the Maple Grove location. Loved the waitress we had! I only wish I could remember her Name. She directed me to theperfect glass of red to go with my Steak Oscar. As with many things in life I do agree you get what you pay for and this is agreat example. A must for special occasions!! Read more
So pleasantly surprised by this shopping mall find. A great steakhouse with great service. Have been here 3 times now, all... with different people, and never did anyone leave less than full and happy. Love the filet, but tried the NY strip this timeand would get again. I am in love with the loaded mashed potatoes. Will come back again very soon. Read more
We loved our experience at Pitttsburgh Blue! We visited for our 20 year anniversary, and the staff went out of their way to make... it a special occasion. The restaurant is beautiful inside! There's plenty of parking, since it's located in the Galleria.Beautiful, warm lighting. We ordered from both ends of the value spectrum. My husband and I like to share both our plates. Heordered the classic burger, which had the best bacon I think I've ever had. Perfectly cooked and wonderfully composed. It camewith a side, and we ordered a side salad with Caesar dressing, which was very bright. He also ordered a cup of lobster chowder.I don't consider myself to be a "lobster person," but it was very tasty. It was beautifully presented, and we shared it happily.I ordered the horseradish crusted filet, which was THE. BEST. STEAK. I have ever had. Hand down, full-stop. Absolutely amazing.It's served with a lovely sauce and was cooked perfectly. I can't recommend it enough! I also ordered a side of asparagus withhollendaise, which may have been my favorite part of the meal, to be honest. So good! Our server was very attentive, plateswere cleared quickly, and our glass es never got close to empty. It was a wonderful meal and experience from start to finish. Ihave absolutely no complaints.
