Alright, let me just say, this place isn't really known for their food (as evidenced by the numerous reviews here). However,... this is the center hub for all things wild up at Sacandaga - and it's definitely known for being just a downright FUN place tobe. The people, the bartenders, the vibe, and the BANDS are always a good time. People drink, they dance, they flirt, they chat.It's just an overall great bar scene here - I have been here over the years, as my longtime friend's camp is on the east side ofthe lake. The location of the I-go makes it easy to get to relative to the many camps around the lake; you just walk down theroad. Now I will also say (in all seriousness here), if you walk to this bar, keep in mind that you are in the Adirondacks. Youare not in Times Square. It is VERY dark out there at night, especially when overcast and/or moonless. DO NOT plan on walkingback to a camp without a flashlight. Your iPhone probably won't be enough lumens/beam distance, I mean an actualflashlight. 5/5 experience, a great place. Read more
Amazing place! Gives you a sense of being in the tropics with it's outdoor seating under a tropical designed umbrella at your... table arrangement overseeing the lake. The live bands, especially the steel drum with Jamaican themed music adds to the overallfeel of being in the tropics. The food is served in big proportions as well as the drinks. Which was very much appreciated and adelight to experience. I would highly recommend this destination! Read more

Went to see the band Tangled Web and grab a bite to eat. The place was packed and there was a wait but well worth the wait. They... have colossal sized frozen drinks that are yummy. The band was really, really good, Unfortunately they started over an hour lateso we didn't get to stay as long as we would have liked. But all in all it was a great summer atmosphere sitting on the deck.Thumbs up. Read more
