Great tamales and good salsas. I really like their green salsa. It has a good kick to it. The restaurant is clean, but the... dining room can be a bit loud. Read more

Best tamales ever. We always take them to go, so I can't comment on the atmosphere, but their service is excellent. Their... tamales are SOOO good that every time I go to the RGV, coworkers and friends give me money and ask me to bring some back. Read more

First time trying this place to pick up tamales on the way home from the valley. Absolutely packed, but cop was there directing... traffic and it went seamlessly, in ordered and out in 10 minutes. Totally worth the minor detour. Will be another minor detournext time too. Read more

Big lineups, essentially on the weekends, but, the experience can't be beat. Highly recommend that people try the Tamales... here! Updating my review as this is my 5th visit in as many years. Always impressed with the staff here. I asked what Menudois and I was given a free sample. Although I did not like the Menudo! I do appreciate the opportunity to expand my pallette andtry new items and flavours especially when it's free! LOL! Read more

I LOVE Delia?s ?? I saw a 1 star rating for their tamales and menudo, which just makes me think that persons opinions and... reviews can?t be trusted. If you haven?t binged on the chicken and cheese tamales cooked with green sauce, you?re missing out.Regardless though, they have some awesome choices and the food is delicious. My grandfather told me he likes the menudo fromDelia?s and I hadn?t even known they have menudo. We?d been trying to get it ever since, but it?s only served on weekends, andsince it?s a pretty popular place, they tend to get some pretty long lines. That?s the biggest downfall of Delia?s.. I?m justnot going to wait that long to order some tamales or menudo. However, I decided to try again during this visit (I?m from thevalley but live in San Antonio now, we have a Delia?s that opened recently but it?s crazy packed all the time and there?s just 1in all San Antonio), went this morning and there wasn?t a line!! I ordered the menudo for my wife and I, and of course sometamales. My grandfather was 100% correct. The menudo was chunky with thick pieces of meat (and stomach lining or whatever) andwas extremely flavorful. Seriously.. if you like menudo (and of course tamales) and haven?t tried it at Delia?s, please go, itwas absolutely delicious ???????? Read more

I ordered half dozen jalapeno and cream cheese Tamales, along with some chips a Pepsi and 2 green and 2 red salsa. It was an... experience unwrapping each Tamales from it's individual corn husk and finding the Tamales perfectly formed and the outersubstrate evenly formed around the center filling. Strong enough so I could pick them up in my hands and dip them directly intothe salsa with out them falling apart. Delicious and moist enough to enjoy them with or without salsa. Have been here beforeand I intend on returning many times to enjoy and recreate this experience. I highly recommend trying this place out! Read more
