We tried this place for the first time today. Unfortunately they don't have sit in so had to do take out. I had very high... expectations of it after reading all the reviews and was hoping the real indo-chinese but I was disappointed. The hot and soursoup was not good at all. There was no ginger in any of the food so not sure how it could be indo Chinese. The garlic noodleswas the best out of bunch. Schwan rice was ok. Paneer chili was basically green chillies with paneer in soya sauce. I wasn't toohappy with the quality of food. It's edible but not too my expectations. Read more
The Hot n Sour soup is out of the world! The best I have had in NJ!! I ordred it 3 days in a row! The lady at the counter is... extemely nice - I mentioned that I loved the soup and that I had tried their noodles too but would have liked it a little morewell done - For others the Noodles would have been amazing too but I have unique taste buds! So to make a happy customer sheended up giving me complimentary soup one of the days! I found that gesture extemely heart warming where they do their best toensure 1000% customer satisfaction! Overall Excellent food. Eggplant garlic was amazing and so was vegetarian Lo Mein. Avoid Thai curry as it not authentic Thai. ... Of course only take out. A real hole in the wall!!! Read more
First timer .. it’s pretty close to where we live but have never tried it here. From outside it doesn’t look that fancy .... Even the inside look is average. Very few chairs and mostly take out now . Few parking in the front but many at therear.. Seeing Calcutta in the name , I really thought it was an undo Chinese restaurant but it ain’t. It’s a pure Chineserestaurant .. Very quick service 10-15 mins and the dish is ready. Tried spicy wings and they were awesome ! Also orderedchilly chicken with rice . Asked them to make spicy and yeah.. it was spicy:) had soy sauce and Chinese flavor but was spicy. Rice was sumptuous. They give a little bit of hot sauce. All for 12$.. not bad .. For food and service , I can surely give it a4 star. It sure about the taste of veggie stuff here. Will try some day ! Read more
Really good Halal Chinese delicious food and food fast service too. Neat and clean restaurant but seating area is a bit small .... The soups are good and so are the entrees with good size portions for each dish to fulfill all the members of your family Read more
In one word this restaurant is awesome ????. Although the place might seem like a regular Chinese food outlet, the lady is... actually from Tangra, Kolkata and they prepare authentic Indo Chinese food whatever possible to get around this place. Thetaste of food is very close to Kolkata Chinese food. This is mainly a take away place but you are free to eat there as well.Theplace is small but clean and well maintained. The lady gave us a very hearty welcome. She is personally taking care of everycustomer's preference. We are very hopeful to visit the place again. Read more
“ok place, not so great...” heard about this Indian-Chinese place from some friends, though it would be worth to go from... Morristown to Edison. but this place is not that great. it more like 'to go' place. Taste is good but not like authentic Indian(i heard it is, but not). we tried momos, chicken chilli, egg role, schewzan rice, Hakka noodles, schewzan chicken. Schewzanrice and noodles were good… service was not that good. for to go-definitely recommended. Read more
