Kung Fu Tea was very kind as to remake our order the next day when we had placed an order at 9pm and couldn't make it to their... store before closing due to a huge accident along the road causing traffic. We called them to see if they could put our drinksin the fridge for us to pick up tomorrow, but the manager offered to remake our drinks in the morning at no charge. I?m from out of town visiting relatives here. When i had a craving for Boba Tea, I immediately searched the nearest Kung Fu Tea... branch ( being a Kung Fu Tea loyal customer) My search led me to this branch. As soon as I entered to give my order, thisKorean ( speaking in her own language with the other staff) looking, fair skinned , slim girl ( she said her name was Tong)taking my order was so rude and degrading,I felt that she wasn?t listening when she was taking my order, and i noticed that shehad an Airpod in her right ear and her voice was loud! that might be the reason why she couldn?t get my orders correctly. I?venever had such an experience with any kung fu tea employee. This employee needs to learn her manners! What a shame! I guess ,this branch will be my last choice if there will even be a next time?. I won?t be surprised if this branch closes sooner thanlater, if management doesn't address this issue. ?? Reply to Owner: That might be your perception, and no need to upload. The girl that took our order was very rude with degrading tone of voice. She couldn?t get our order right and she?s making us... repeat our order and she?s getting frustrated with us her voiced raised the whole time. We noticed as we approached the cashier,she was on her phone and she?s wearing an AirPod the whole time we were ordering and the whole time we were there. This girl wasfair skinned, slim, tall Korean girl. I tried to be understanding and just let it go at first. We made 5 orders, when wechecked our receipt as we sat down, there was another mistake that I noticed so I went to the counter right away to politely tryto say to make sure that there?s no sugar on one of the order we made for health reason but she rudely replied and said ?wealready started making it..? as if she?s not willing to make it right. I replied ?I ordered no sugar.. and by the way you?revery rude and I don?t appreciate it!? She replied ?I guess we?ll just have to make another one!? Looking at us with a sharpstare (like if looks could kill) and continued to argue with me saying ?next time...? I had to stop her before she can finishher statement and put her in her place! I said ?There is definitely no next time! We will not be coming back here!? When wetried to ask for management and get her name name from her coworker who?s now in the cashier, one just turned to her and spokein their language and said they can?t give us her name which is weird. If you know you didn?t do anything wrong why would younot give your name! She then said ?if you want to talk to my manager, call tomorrow, the manager will be here.? We demanded toget her name and she finally said ?T-o-n-g? (if that is even her name!). This girl is not fit to work in a place that requirescustomer service. The bar for boba has to be set at Kung Fu Tea. Have been to 3 different states and the quality has remained the same or... increased. Taro Milk Tea is amazing and never disappoints. Kung Fu Milk Tea is also very good option. Service is quick. Store is clean and staff are friendly. Read more
My first here today. I arrived to the door and found out I had to download an app then make an account. Put me credit card... information in and finally order a bubble tea. I must say I was annoyed having to go through this app downloading and mobileordering because I live in NY and never go to a kung fu tea. But I really wanted a bubble tea. So I went through the troubleand made an account. The bubble tea here is very tasty. Maybe I missed it but I wish they had the brown sugar bubble tea drinkthat is popular everywhere. I got something that resembled it but did not taste like it. However it was tasty. Ordering wasfairly straight forward on the app. My order was ready with 6mins. Great Bubble Tea, but it is the McDonalds of the bubble tea world. It is a happy medium between more authentic bubble tea shops... like Mi Tea and the mall kiosks powdered bubble teas. The brown sugar wow is great in the winter when you want something hotand cold. However, their prices are the same as more high end shops. Thus locations appears disorganized and occasionally thatmess spills in to the service areas. Waits are long during peak hours and they do not open early enough for those looking formorning tea. However, they offer so many options that are palatable to the less culturally explorative folk. However, as anIrish Italian who is fluent in Mandarin- I prefer Mi Tea or the Modern Tea shop, a short walk away. Read more
