Very good local place for subs and soups. Today they had ?Italian wedding? special soup. I was intrigued by the name and it... tasted great as well. Read more

A buddy of mine took me to the sandwich shop not too long ago. I had the honey turkey and cheese. It tastes like an old school... deli....the subs from way back in the day. Very flavorful. Fast and friendly service and I was hungry I got the huge one. Read more

They are fine. I heard customers in line talking excitedly about the fact that Tastee hasn't changed in 20 years. They have... fewer options (veggies, condiments, toasted subs, etc) than most sub shops today. I think they use Boar's Head like everyoneelse. I'm not sure what the hype is about. I prefer Mr. Subs in South Plainfield. Read more

I called in my order today 7/28/2022 @1:39. The crew that was working wow holy poop spectacular sub making. Brought me back to... 1991 when I first moved to Edison. Over the years sorry to say Tastee subs were lacking but today my goodness if I could findout when this crew works or if they can teach the others to make subs like they did I?m sure they would have that 1990sbusiness. I was going just because it was close but again today TASTEE YOU HIT THE BALL OUT OF THE PARK. THANK YOU for the meand my family that old school awesome really great sub. Read more

Good and tasty indeed. Flavor of meats not really strong but overall is a good bite for the value. Long line at lunchtime but... moves fairly quickly. Cash discount. Parking lot available and usually will find a space. I like to cut into four pieces andshare. Read more

Sadly didn?t live up to the hype. Thanks, Obama. I came here because a friend recommended it. Even Obama visited this sub... shop. I got the #1 and #3 on wheat bread - I think they ran out of white bread at the time. It?s a decent sub, but nothing outof this world. It definitely a huge sandwich and you get your bang for your buck. Taste-wise, it?s really whatever. Probablynot worth docking points, but I found a strand of hair in my sandwich. Honest mistake that could happen at anyrestaurant. Overall, I still think Jimmy John?s serves better subs. Read more

I use to live here as a child and moved to SE Oklahoma and missed a good Sub. Came to visit my Family and my Uncle took me... there yesterday the line was so long outside. I thought man this has to be good. It was well worth the wait. The staff wasworking non staff, so efficient people coming in picking up orders never missed a beat. I ordered 2 #5, for 4 people needless tosay we have one left. It beyond delicious. In the South we tip for good service and food, I tried and the young man said nothank you ma?am we are don?t take tips. Let me tell you they sure do a great job everything is fresh . Read more

One of the best sub shops in this area if not the best. Prices are extremely reasonable and cheap if you visit Jersey Mike?s... for subs. The only downsides is the parking lot and the location can make it hard to enter during rush hour. But the subs areworth it. I usually prefer a #3 and occasionally order the fully loaded #5. You get a 5% discount on cash payments. Currentlyas I write this there is no fine in. Prior to covid it had 4-5 small tables inside. When I?m in a sub mood I always try to hitthis place up! Read more
