Waterfront has been a favorite seafood restaurant of mine in Edisto Beach, SC for many, many years, and this past week I had the... pleasure of returning to it once again while the family and I were down there on vacation. As always, the Flowers family didnot disappoint. I had the Scallops St. Pierre, and the bay scallops combined with the richness of the cream sauce and the flavorof the roasted tomatoes made for a new favorite dish of mine. My wife had the black sesame salmon, and she really enjoyed theorange teriyaki glaze that was on it. If anyone heads to Edisto Beach, SC, then Waterfront is a must-visit. Heck, if you'reheading to Charleston, drive an hour south for this meal... it's worth it! Read more
The Waterfront has superb food and a nice, efficient wait staff. Our waitress Kat was personable and very good. She recognized... my 90 year old father in law who is a local resident and does not get out much any more. They estimated the 20 minute wait timeaccurately. Went back for a second night. Food was excellent again and the entree portions were larger this time . This is definitely a... restaurant or taking advantage of if you're at Edisto Beach .The quality of the food that this restaurant is fantastic. Thefried green tomatoes over grits was one of the best appetizers I've ever gotten in a restaurant and it's definitely enough tosatisfy two people.
