You get more than you pay for, and the taste is phenomenal. My personal favorite is the chicken and dumplings with sausage,... gravy, and extra biscuits. There is this green bean casserole which I can't seem to find there but they gave it to me once. Itwas incredible and kind of ruined the other sides. Now I can't find it again. Read more
Dined in at Chili's. My steak was not cooked properly the 1st time. I didn't care for it. But I don't believe in wasting... food. My server asked me about it. She talked to her manager. I was comped the first steak dinner and served another steakdinner cooked more properly. That's good service. Read more
A lot to look and a lot to eat. Very cultured indeed. Very impressed with the antiques that the place has for... decors. Fascinating! Old country stuffs will make you nostalgic for places or homes you used to have. We were well taken carewith their lovely customer service. We had fish with fries, mini burgers and grilled chicken salad and loaded sweet potato. andall were fine. Too much that we were not able to finish them all. The place is so popular that we had to wait for about 20minutes to be able to get a table. There are nice rocking chairs to sit on when you wait outside. To get in and get out of therestaurant (or to the restroom)you have to go through their souvenir shop with tons of interesting stuff, then you end up buyingsomething on your way out haha A good stop over for lunch when you are out and about on I35 driving to your destination. I like this restaurant. No surprises. I had the meatloaf mashed potatoes and green beans. Very good. My wife had the chicken... dumplings. Several other items located in the gift shop. There root beer is very good. Now they have a limited adult beveragemenu. Another nice touch. Breakfast is always very good. Two thumbs up. I wished the Los Angeles area had a Cracker Barrel! Since we don't, it is special when I can visit one! Not only is their food... generally yummy, their store area is cute to have a look at! I love the country feel and charm! Read more
Great place to eat, people are friendly, I love looking through the store in front before going to be seated. Lots of cool... things to check out. Waitresses are always friendly, food almost always hot, drinks well, drinks are just drinks. It's nicethey sell alcohol now though. Great place to dine in on. Read more
