McLaren's is a staple in Edmond, originally started by two Scottish Sisters who loved food as much as they loved people. Fast... forward 20 years and the Turkey Avocado Croissant still tastes the same. The cookies are always a hit and their bars neverdisappoint. I highly suggest you trying their no-bake, snicker doodle, and Scottish Shortbread cookies. If you like peanutsthe Highland bar is my favorite! Expect to spend $10-$15 per person (food, drink and dessert). Most cookies are around $1.00 andbars are typically within the $2.50 range. Read more

If I had to use one word to describe McLaren's, it would be: UNDERWHELMING. Two words, you ask? OVER PRICED. A patient of the... office I work at brought me a gift card for this place yesterday, so of course I went to check it out. I couldn't find prices atany of the places I checked online, so I wasn't sure what to expect. (Not to worry for all of you planning a visit, I'veuploaded a photo.) I pulled in to a packed parking lot which is usually a good sign. The dining area was pretty full, mostly ofolder ladies chatting while having lunch. There was no line, which was nice. After glancing at the menu, I knew that if I waspaying with my own money, I would have turned and walked out, but since I had a gift card, I didn't. I ordered a spinachquiche, which says it comes with a side of fruit salad, and I also ordered a cup of the Wisconsin Cheddar soup. I was told tohave a seat and they would call me up when it was ready and I'd pay then. I was surprised at how small the quiche wasconsidering it was two quarters shy of $10. (That's right. $9.50 for a Banquet Pot Pie size quiche.) The soup came the size Iexpected to see. And it also came with a mint. Once I got to my table, I realized there was no fruit salad so I had to go ask ifthat was a thing or not. The girl at the front quickly realized she forgot and turned to the mini fridge behind her and handedme a tiny cup of fruit. (See photo for entire meal.) My order came out to almost $14. I kind of feel ripped off to be completelyhonest. The quiche was soggy. Like it was cooked over the weekend and then popped in the microwave when I ordered it. Tastedlike dog breath. You could tell that if it were fresh, the crust would be crispy and flaky, but it was incredibly wet. Icouldn't finish it. The soup tasted like an off brand canned soup you'd get at Walmart and I wouldn't be surprised if that'swhat it was. Sadly, the fruit is the only thing that tasted good and unfortunately that was the smallest portioned thi Read more

When you walk into McLaren's it gives you a southern home vibe. All of the baked goods here are made from scratch, and let me... tell you it is divine. Their chocolate chip cookies are to die for. I absolutely love the ladies that work here too. Everyone isalways nice, and they always get your food to you pretty quickly. They have good sandwiches, but I mainly go here for thedesserts. Food is phenomenal. Great sandwiches and their no bake cookies are to die for. But the atmosphere couldn't be worse. It's so... bland and just boring. If they made it a little more comfortable and cute I'd go there more. Maybe add some booths. Read more

The food here is always made with high quality ingredients and is very tasty. This is true for the desserts as well. As a... result, it is unusually expensive for a sandwich meal. With two sandwiches, a drink and a side (possibly also a dessert) it islikely to be around $15 per person. Certainly you can count on nice staff and a tasty meal! Read more

The food is delicious, I love their soups and their deli salads - the Greek pasta is my favorite.Seriously, go check out this place, it's a great local deli/bakery. Read more
