9/1/22 - Finally made it back here after our first visit about 3 years ago. Every bit as good as the first time and now that our... daughter lives close by we have an excuse to come here more often! Tonight we started with roasted Brussels sprouts appetizercovered with parmesean and a creamy white sauce. Then had the parmesean crusted halibut with sautéed veggies and garlic mashedpotatoes, charbroiled wild salmon also with garlic mashed potatoes and sautéed veggies. The halibut was absolutely perfect!Cooked to perfection and delicious! The salmon was also excellent, brushed with olive oil and lemon. The garlic mashed potatoeswere smooth and creamy and the veggies were fresh and cooked just right. We were too full for dessert but they have a wonderfulselection of sweets that I want to try. 5 star food and service! 2019, pre-pandemic: Awesome restaurant! I was looking on Yelpbecause I was in the area and hungry and it was recommended. Amazing fish and chips and the Home made tartar sauce was alsoperfect! Also had steamed clams which were very good and a seafood pasta with scallops, fish, clams, muscles and shrimp.Everything was so fresh and delicious! I don't live close to The Hook but will definitely make an effort to go back! Veryfriendly wait staff and also in my opinion a good indicator of an establishment is restroom cleanliness and theirs are spotless.They have a large bar area and a huge selection of whatever you may want including a great list of beer on tap. We had a wonderful dining experience during happy hour today. Everyone was gracious and kind, Andrew our server was absolutely... fantastic and the food was delicious, plentiful and reasonably priced. Relaxed atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating in avery clean establishment. The Cole slaw was so good I got an order to go, the cod fish and chips, beans and clam chowder wereall excellent. Service was so-so across the board. The food was good not great. Parking was plentiful and easy to get in and out.
This little restaurant will not let you down. I went over there because of the clam chowder reviews and I was not... disappointed. Clam chowder-Steamed clams in white wine sauce- Halibut & fries, I can say the same about all of them, the freshingredients made the food great.???????? The All American burger- I feel obligated to try to express how good it was! ????? TheMedium well local ground beef & ciabatta bread made it so good. Juicy- delicious- well proportioned burger. ???? We found this place by accident. The service is excellent and so is the food we have tried thus far. I had the gyro salad which... was a good light option. Really you can't go wrong here. The shops nearby are also really nice. I recommend walking aroundafter your meal, exploring the bakery and Cafe nearby. Read more
