We were already after dinner, looking for a place to have coffee and desserts with friends. The sign literally says "cafe", so... we went in. We asked if they're serving coffee and hot chocolate and the man behind the bar said yes. After we were seated wefound they have no milk, no ice, almost no coffee options and only two of the the desserts left. The desserts were great, but weleft the place with a bad taste in our mouth from the experience. Read more
I found this place on a whim when my husband and I wanted to have dinner on the North side after work (we live in South Seattle... and work up north). I didn't know I would need a reservation, but we managed to get some seats at the bar; a couple happened tobe leaving moments after I arrived. I could tell the bartender was well-seasoned, and knew I could order a Tom Collins withoutbeing questioned. My husband ordered a virgin drink 'reminiscent of a Rum cocktail', and received a very nice, minty green drinkin a Martini glass. The Bartender was very social, funny, and told us about all the nice details of the food being madein-house. All the food was amazing. He got excited when we ordered 2 desserts! Just there 20 mins ago... beautiful cool Saturday Summer night. Great burger, staff super friendly. Great vibe... here. But....damn...the House music was awesome. I found myself Shazaming every song. It wasn't loud, and perfectly played forthe moment. Brooke (wait staff) saw me doing this and was gracious enough to share her playlist. House Music makes this MY spotin Edmonds! Came on a whim while walking downtown Edmonds with a friend. The staff was incredibly fun, attentive, and knowledgeable about... food and drink pairings. Our bartender was infectiously funny, personable, and very entertaining. Food = delicious. Drinks =delectable. Such a wonderful experience all around. Will definitely be coming again. Thanks, Daddy. Amazing service and staff! Goes out of their way to make guest feel special. Truly a great experience. They sure keep it simple... yet delicious and extraordinary flavors to their food!
