My family is a big fan of South indian food. We have tried and enjoyed many famous restaurants in Edmonton serves tasty south... indian food. It was my first visit to Aachys and I believe I have never tasted such delicious food before even in India. Myhusband loved the whole fry fish it was his first time and he was really afraid of fish bone but the taste was too good. Coffeeand all chutneys were far too delicious ???? None of the food we had was like authentic South indian and tasted really like its too much fermented. We had Kal dosa, rava... dosa, appam with khurma, extra appam, coconut milk, sambar vada. The food is amazing. I enjoyed it so much. I was craving dosa, idli, vada and I didn't want to go all the way to South side to... get a good dosa. I don't have to drive that far from north anymore, because this place meets all the expectations. Warm andcosy environment too. The food was good. The ambience and the furniture could do with some updates. The access to the restaurant is a bit tricky with... all the construction nearby. The staff were polite and attentive. Delicious! After getting takeout from here in the past, I finally came for dine-in and it was so much better. Not a fancy place... at all, but the dosa was perfectly crispy and the chutneys were delicious. Definitely one of the best dosa in Edmonton! Read more

Been there twice. Sometimes in 2019 and September 2020. Both visits were very positive and very friendly service?? first time... was Sunday buffet and loved it! This time I went for lunch and wasn?t sure what I want, so I was asking this waiter and hesuggested this prawn vindaloo curry. It was amazing???? I will definitely go back and try another curry!
