We were there today .. the food was gross. I had the cashew chicken. Chicken was so dry and next to no cashews. My daughter had... the butter chicken and it was very bland. The Caesar’s were spot on. Likely won’t be back. Maybe chef was having an offday. Service was fine. Read more
Came here for Sunday brunch and were very disappointed. When we got there there were only 4 tables in the restaurant and it took... several minutes for our server to even take our order, and then the waiting started… we waited fairly patiently and then themanager came to our table to apologize for the long wait on our food and told us it should be out shortly. Over twenty minuteslater our server finally came back to our table and asked us if we were doing okay to which we replied our food has taken anextremely long time to arrive and there are tables that ordered after us who have already received their food. We were told theywere short staffed in the kitchen and there wasn’t anything they could do and then muttered something under her breath as shewalked away. I could spend more time complaining about how some of the food was cold, or how the portions were not worth thecost of the items, but the poor service outweighed all of those other negative aspects of our experience. It’s too bad reallybecause we’ve been to Brewster’s quite a bit and usually have enjoyed the food. But we will probably choose to spend ourmoney someplace else in the future because there are many options to choose from. So if you are going here to meet a group ofpeople or for a very specific menu item enjoy yourself - but I personally wouldn’t recommend this location for Sunday brunch. Read more
The worst ever service we got at this place. Once the food was served no one came to ask if we need anything else. Instead, I... have to call them twice to order something and even to get our bill at the end. Moreover, the restaurant was not at all busythat we got this kind of service. The other thing was too much salt in food. Also, they were being rude to us just because ofthe confusion that they had regarding sharing drinks that we DID NOT SHARE at any point. We are also aware of the rules and evenif she had any confusion she could have came and ask or could have told us politely but instead of this in-front of othercustomers she said loudly that YOU GUYS CANNOT DO THIS from distance that is INSULT to us. At the end, we talked to the GENERALMANAGER OF THE RESTAURANT and from him also the response was Zero. The service we got at other restaurants is mind blowing wenever faced such a terrible service anywhere else. I think you guys need to hire more professional people. Read more
My boss took me and my co workers here for lunch I ordered a medium rare steak. It was half raw and half burnt. I didn't send it... back because I was with my boss and didn't want to look like a picky person and waste time ordering new food. I just ate theparts that were chewable. I think this was done on purpose for a laugh because of how blatantly bad the food was and the staffknowing I was with my boss. Went here for a first date. The location is a bit tricky due to the construction but you just have to be patient. Once inside it... seems a little bit dark but the back has lots of windows that make it nice and bright. Decided that since the weather was niceto sit outside. They have a sizeable patio. Had to ask the servers how to get outside though. The opening is behind a counterthat I didn't think I was allowed behind. We laughed and I took the table to the right, sat and waited for my date. Whilewaiting I got to hang out with a little mouse! Sadly, it was the highlight of my date. This lil mouse kept on staring at me andwas just adorable. My rating has nothing to do with the mouse though. I quite enjoyed his company. While waiting for my date Iasked the servers if I could sample two of their fruitier beers as I'm on the hunt for one that I like. They provided me withtwo lil glasses of them. Tried their 52nd St Peach Ale and their River City Raspberry Ale. Preferred the Raspberry, believe Igot a 12 oz. which came with raspberries on top. For my meal I picked their Fish Tacos. Love me a good fish taco and theirs camewith fries which at other places they do not. The fish tacos were seasoned with southwestern spiced haddock, chipotle slaw,sriracha mayo and pico de gallo on a grilled tortillas. As normal you get three and they're small. What I noticed was for$16.99, there was such a small portion of fish in my taco, it made me wonder why the cost was $16.99. It tasted really good andI loved that I didn’t need to add anything else for flavor, but the amount of fish was tiny and that is where they failed.Maybe had the serving of fries been bigger since they’re a filler, I would have been okay. But for $16.99 I find it to beoverpriced for what you got. My date got chicken fingers and fries. His portion of fries was also quite small. Have not been here in 20 years. Thanks Kennedy B for introducing new flavored beer. The menu was ok and there was nothing for... children even though their website indicated they have a menu for children. The prices were too high for the amount of food wegot. Was double charged for wings instead of the suggested platter. For 3 people (1adult and 2 teen boys) , the bill came to 90bucks. ouch Read more
Excellent Food and Drinks! Liked their new Vodka and Soda drink Brevy and the White Sangria. Had their Rio Grande Bowl and Long... Beach Salad, great taste and fresh ingredients, but way too small for the price. And I am not a big eater! The tortilla stripswere maybe one tortilla chip cut up ... they came with a tiny bowl of salsa but nothing to dip it with, the creme fraiche was afine drizzle. And unfortunately although our server asked if everything was OK, she couldn't have cared less about the answer,she had already moved on when I asked if there maybe some more tortilla chips to go with the dish. Her solution was, that Icould order some chips on the side. Oh, did I mention we were here early before any lunch time crowd, so she could have spent afew seconds with us ????
