Came here for a family dinner I had a burger (of course) looked promising was happy with the look of it but it wasn't worth the... hour wait. It was very bland till the last bite it seems all the flavor all the sauce everything was just hanging on the back.The Patty itself was okay nice to see it was hand pressed, the fries were really good the gravy was meh I've had better but I'vehad worse. My girlfriend got the British Burrito she wasn't happy with it when you think burritos you think veggies meat cheeseetc but all that it had was beef and a Au Jus dip. The atmosphere was okay. Absolute happiness eating this meal. My friend and I love checking out new restaurants and this one is a gem! Love the British... theme with the menu and décor. They offer live music on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Our waitress Teanna and the lady who sat usdown were extremely friendly and attentive. Bar staff were great too! Very happy with this place and definitely want to bringmore people here to try it out. The "Shroom & Swiss" was absolutely mouthwatering. One of the best mushroom burgers I've had ina long time. June 14, 2022 Came here for a quick beverage after the work day. Never been here before and wanted to try it out. I was super... impressed by the look and feel . It really had a nice clean pub look. I was not expecting that at all. Really nice ambiance. Thespecial today was a steak sandwich for $17. We weren't looking to eat but decided to share a wing platter. The platter was $27and had 2 lbs of very meaty wings. You can ask for up to 3 flavors on them. If you like crispy wings, I'd ask for double cooked.It included waffle fries, carrot sticks, ranch and another Cajun type sauce. They told us Wednesday is half price wing nite. Ithink also with Karaoke. Some beer special. Today thier 450ml cans of craft beer were $6.50. They are made in Alberta. The oneswe tried were so good. Very much on par if you like the beers at the Sugarbowl by the University of Alberta. They have 12 tochoose from. Some are on the menu and the rest you can find at the bar. So ask your server. I would come back here just for thebeer. If you like Hooegarden beer, try The Wolfe. It was fantastic. Been meaning to get here for a while and I?m glad I came because the food and service was great. My wife and I really enjoyed... our visit here. Our server was friendly and attentive. The ambiance is great and a real pub like feel. The washroom is clean.My wife and I enjoyed the wing platter with the waffle fries. The food was served hot and tasty. Edit: We were so excited to see this place open again! We got take out yesterday and loved it so much, we decided to go there... for lunch today. (Thanks for the note in our take-out, we love you too! ????) The restaurant definitely has a charming Britishpub atmosphere. It?s amazingly clean and everything looks great inside. The server was super friendly, with just the rightamount of checking in on us. The booths are super comfy and they have the right amount of TVs for watching sports. Not too many,not too few! We ordered the steak sammy and the bangers and mash. Both entrees were sooo good. They came very quickly too. Thesteak was great, cooked perfectly to order and seasoned well. The bangers and mash looked like the ultimate comfort food dish.Mashed potatoes, bangers, onions and peas all swimming around in delicious beef gravy. I heard about this restaurant from my daughter, the photos of the food were very alluring lol? I went with a friend for lunch,... walked into an invitingly warm welcoming room, great first impression. ???????? As I rubbernecked was English Pub (I grew up inEngland), wow. Tables were spaced apart vs being crammed in like most restaurants ????????????????. Barb who served us was superwelcoming and friendly. Very hands on, obviously likes her job which was great to see ????????????????????????. Great selectionon the menu, prices on par with other places, when the food started arriving I was just gobsmacked. HUGE portions; my friend hada steak sandwich the size I?ve never experienced before. I had the pot roast on the Yorkshire Pudding (I could only eat half),everything was outstanding ???????????????? Barb was very attentive, then a man (Des) came to our table, so friendly and handson too, overseeing everything, who later turned out to be the owner!
