Played it safe and had the blackened chicken po boy and it was delicious!! The sweet potato fries are next level and the... chipotle mayo has just enough kick. They served a biscuit and green jelly to start and it was bomb af! The coffee was tasty aswell. Excellent customer service! Will be back! Read more

Great little spot. My food was delish but I found myself wishing my plate came with roumalade or similar instead of just seafood... sauce. I am from the Southern US tho so I tend to be less over excited by Cajun here in Canada. ??????????? Overall tho, I wouldvisit again without hesitation. Ambiance is awesome, staff is attentive and the food comes out fast. Read more

Great Cajun restaurant, has excellent vibe and ambience. The chefs are really invested in providing great food and it reflects... in the food that comes out of the kitchen. I tried the Pulled Pork PO Boy sandwich and it was on point. NOTE: This place has thebest sweet potato fries, you don?t wanna miss them and their Cajun spice seasoning on it, OMG! Lovely. Will come back soon totry their different dishes. P.S. They gave me a complimentary Jalapeño Jam with butter biscuit and I ended up buy a smallcontainer of jam from them, it was really good. This is probably a 5/5 star place but I want to try more food items beforegiving it all stars. Read more

Service: 4.5/5 Food: 4/5 Vibe: 4.5/5 Price: 4/5 The food was something you expect from DaDeo, satisfying and enough but nothing... extraordinary. The calamari was superb. The food was a little more spicy than I expected but it's my personal preference. Ourwaiter did a good job! We went there Saturday night without reservations and it was busy but still could find a spot. Overallthe quality is good! Cheers. Read more

DaDeO is super unique joint on Whyte Ave that is a great place to stop for dinner. The interior is very unique and harks back to... the 60s with a dive bar/diner aesthetic that feels inviting. They play (predominantly) jazz which suits the vibe of theplace. The food was incredible. My wife and I shared the sweet potato fries and loved them (arguably the best we have ever had). We also tried some their mixed drinks which were incredible. The drinks are also fairly priced for what you are getting. Weeach also tried a po-boy and they did not disappoint. The blackened catfish po-boy is unreal and the sides (potato hash andcoleslaw) are also really tasty. The portions are also generous. The only downside is that the service can be a bit lacking. However, this only slightly detracts from overall experience. Overall, DaDeO is a great place for dinner and I will happilyreturn in the future. Read more

First timer to DaDeo here! Gotta say, DaDeO is definitely your one stop shop for New Orleans food here in YEG! The price was... extremely fair for the portions that I was getting! The staff was extremely nice and personable! Our server Tyler was awesome! Istarted off with the Corn Fritters, AMAZING! They were crispy on the outside and nice and light on the inside! Then I had theCalamari Po?boy, delicious! The jambalaya rice and side of tam fries were perfection! Everything here was delicious and I amdefinitely coming back for more. Read more

Came here with my boyfriend early Saturday evening, I ordered "combo dadeo" it had rice, grilled chicken and baked beans. The... dish had a nice amount of spice, I enjoyed everything except the baked beans (which had a lot of artifical liquid smoke) myboyfriend ordered "po boys philly cheese steak" a side of rice and coleslaw. Meat was seasoned nicely and they had a goodbalance of cheese. The food was nothing mind blowing, we both enjoyed our meals as it felt "home cooked" , I can't see us comingback here for a few reasons. First the staff seemed very unfriendly, there is no signage saying help yourself to a seat, so westood in the door way only to have a waitress look at us and walk away. When we did come into the restaurant we were abruptlystopped and rudely told we need to show proof of vaccination -which is fine given that we are in a pandemic. However it was thedemeanor, you could tell that they could care less about your business, and just wanted us out of the way. The staff wereshouting the whole time and a few members stopped to have tequila shots with the table in front of us. Since the group wascrowding near our table it made the whole booth shake, and no one seemed to care that they were being disruptive. Not a lot ofsocial distancing measures were being taken. As the establishment is a bit worn down, the tables were wobbly. The booths werevery tiny making for a uncomfortable fit while eating. The interior is cute it had a old retro vibe and they play music from the60s. Appetizers were 2 tiny stale biscuits with jalapeño jam. Bathroom is rather tiny but the upkeep is there. Overall I wouldrate the experience 3/5 Read more
