Very fast service which is convenient for lunch when on a lunch break. Ramen was not as exciting as I thought it would be (other... places have more flavourful broth in my opinion). The Takoyaki was very good. My friend ordered sushi and it?s nicely presentedbut I?d say it?s overpriced. Overall the service was probably the best aspect and I feel like either the quality went down hillor this place is slightly overrated. Read more

This restaurant does not dissappoint. From first entering, the waft of fresh food and the eclectic atmosphere, to the great... servers, and last but not least the outstanding eats. Best miso ever, and the 4 foot bridge of 5 kinds of pressed sushi weredelectable. We are already looking forward to going back to try another couple of completely different dishes the next time weare in town. Culinary adventure! PART 2- Visited Dorinku for a second time and had the chef's sashimi lunch special and theRamen salad. The sashimi is the freshest of fresh and I cannot say enough about the Ramen salad. The tastiest dish I've hadanywhere in recent memory. After explaining to our terrific waiter that every time we come here we want to try somethingdifferent, he recommended for our next visit to try the tonkatsu curry and the miso Ramen soup. Looking forward to it!!! Read more

Absolutely amazing place. Been here a handful of times. If you want recommendations the TNT pressed sushi and fried chicken are... the way to go! Chicken is never too greasy and service is incredibly fast, less than 10 minutes from ordering most times! Pricesare very reasonable for quality. Wait staff is excellent and very attentive. Atmosphere and music are delightful. The place isalso very clean from restrooms to table. Only complaint would be how noisy it can be when it?s busy, but that?s on no fault ofthe restaurant. Once again highly recommended! Read more

The curry pork Rice and hell spicy chicken are my favorite! The ramen miso soup very tasty but a little salty at the end. My son... like the watermelon drink with a scoop ice cream on top. ???? I already ate a couple of time. If we go the Whyte Ave for walk,we will go to eat here. Read more

Very nice izukaya restaurant, atmosphere was great, lots of seating, very clean. The service was excellent; they were quick,... friendly and went the extra mile while serving the sake bombs. We ordered the 2 apertizer special and the sushi combo whichincluded 5 (I think) rolls. It was just the right amount of food and for the price was more than worth it. I definitely will beback here. The food was amazing! We made a reservation for 8 people but were told we had to wait outside until everyone showed up which was... kind of weird, also when the whole party of 8 arrived we had to wait inside for the table to be ready. The server was so kindand helpful:) I?ve been here a couple times and each time the food and service is great Read more

Went there today around 5pm and the place was a bit full. The food came out really fast as one came after another. The carbonera... noodle was hot and creamy, the takoyaki was flavourful and crunchy, the 5 pc toto texture was good, but not as flavorful. Theumi and the 5 piece sashimi special was really flavorful and just melts in your mouth. The real ginger was a bonus as it makes abig difference with taste and texture. Ordered the yuzu mojito and the melon cocktail ( both not in photo), it was really lightand delicious. Fair pricing for the quality that you get, and the customer service is excellent. The kitchen staff work hardand fast to deliver your food. Highly recommend going and will be going again! Read more

Ramen was sooooo good! Great Tokyo vibes and friendly, helpful service! Enjoyed tonkatsu shio ramen with egg (extra $2), miso... ramen, chicken kaarage, and tokoyaki. Pork slices were thick and nicely seasoned. If I had to be picky, I would say that Iwish the pork was sliced thinner so that it would taste softer. Our server recommended the Tokyo cocktail and i liked how lightand refreshing it was. Entire family was so full and couldn't finish everything! Read more
