First time going and we were very impressed. The care and attention that goes into the meal is very noticeable. And the little... things are super nice to see. We have dined at a lot of the fine dining in Edmonton and I would say this is top 3 for sure. Theprice was better then any fine dining in Edmonton. The dessert was the best I have had in years! Great food, service and value! You get to try delicious culinary creations from the students and taste amazing dishes.
The food was amazing and portions were very generous. The complimentary puff pastry appetizer and strawberry sorbet palate... cleanser was also very nice. Our main entrees (bison prime rib and lamb shank) was very flavourful and tender. Having a dessertcart to display the featured dessert was a nice touch. Made it hard to decided upon just one! Hostesses are very nice. It’s actually a culinary lab for students at NAIT so the staff can’t take tips. It costs 24 per... person to have all the sample sized appetizers, main course, tapas and desserts. Some are served when upon availability. Read more

Excellent evening out. The restaurant was quiet and had a good ambience. Servers and hostesses were all polite, knowledgeable,... and friendly. It was pretty cool - the Friday I went the culinary students were starting to do live table preps for salads anddeserts, and made special cakes for sale. Also cool that they walked around and asked for honest feedback about how the mealand everything was. Will definitely be back! Read more
Wonderful experience!! Everyone needs to visit ERNESTs at least once. It is not like any restaurant I frequent. Beautiful... plating, amazing fresh quality food, attentive and knowledgeable servers, Never felt rushed in fact felt super comfortable.Prices were very reasonable which I was pleasantly surprised.
