Visiting from out of town and wanted to happy hour bar hop and started here. 4$ wine, 6$ pizza 2-5pm. I got a glass of pinot... grigio and a vesuvio pizza, nice flavor with a little spice. Only issue... water glass was dirty around rim. Read more

I absolutely loved my meal at Famoso! Usually I go in the evening with friends and get the Cavoletti with the walnut gorgonzola... salad. But this time, it was 2pm on a Friday, alone. Wow - such a great experience. Had a fantastic server. And hit the placeright at happy hour. Tried new things - the marinated olives and a simple spicy pizza with cappicola, cheese and basil. Totallydelicious. Plus, two glasses of wine. Yum. And I even enjoyed the poker and hockey on tv. A perfect date with myself. Suchawesome service I felt totally comfortable. Highly recommend! The food at this Famoso location has gotten better since the last visit. Peach and Prosciutto Bianca pizza is excellent. They... have multiple Situation beers on tap- local beer on a menu usually bring an encouraging sign- but tiramisu was the star of themenu. It arrived looking almost too picture perfect, as if it had been cut from a grocery store cake, but the taste separated itfrom its visual cousin by miles. Mascarpone or die, I say. Did not die.
