I was on a mission to find a good Chinese Food restaurant in the Bonnie Doon/Capilano area. Instead, what I found was a GREAT... one. The fried rice wasn't mushy. The Chicken Balls had chicken in them. The vegetables were fresh and not overcooked. Thesauces were on point. The staff were attentive and very friendly. When I was paying my bill, I told them it was the best meal Ihad in years, and I meant it. Bring your hungry families and be prepared for happy tummies. Read more
I kept on buying Chinese food from them since this is so close to our house. I really enjoyed the Mapo Tofu so much. But it... sucks when we ordered Beef Yeriyaki and it's filled with bean sprouts. Parking space is spacious enough for Take Out Customers.And maybe ask for the ingredients before you order so you won't be disappointed when you're about to eat your food at home. Read more
Maybe the worst food I've had in years. The food was all over-cooked, tasteless and terrible. "Spicey" Mapo Tofu was bland and... lacked substance. Assorted Meat with Mixed Green Chow Mein, soggy and starchy. Stir Fried Mixed Greens, only badly cut broccoliand onion. Terrible texture and no flavour. This is the second time we tried the foods from Harvest Chinese Restaurant, but this time we brought the foods to the park. We... choose Combo A and Combo B like from the first time we dine in at the restaurant, because of the selections, taste and hugeportion of the foods. At first we were thinking that maybe take away orders will have few portions, but we are wrong. It isactually the same. The foods in general are tasty, fresh and well presentable. Fast service. Huge Portions! I’ve lived close by for years but this place honestly didn’t look like it would be good, the inside isn’t... the nicest looking, but sans Covid I ordered for pickup, meal for 2 with ginger beef and bbq pork Shanghai noodles. Thought itwas expensive but the portions are absolutely huge! The meal for 2 is a meal for 4-5 people. Wonton soup was decent, springrolls were crispy. Ginger beef had a lot of flavor, Shanghai noodles had a lot of pork and cabbage they need more carrotsthough. I’ll be ordering her again, and the bbq pork buns are homemade and very delicious! For the most part it was good. The food is made beforehand so wait times are short. There are few people in the room because... it's quite plain. The service is quick and there are a few TVs as well. Parking is free and prices are fair for the mostpart. They have skip the dishes and it's possible to preorder as well. I would go again, but it's not what I'd call "special" Read more
