Awesome awesome awesome. This place was so so good. I used to go to tiffin or little India but lately their prices have gone sky... rocketing so I was looking for a new place for food. Then this place came out to save the day, the food was so good and freshand the rice was a heavily amount which I loved. Only downside is that they only give you like 3 pieces of Nan which to me isn'tenough at all. The Chai was also very very good and overall a great place and atmosphere is great and great service as well Read more

Both me and my husband are big time foodies and we swear by Masala Tree?s food . The taste is authentic and has never ever... disappointed us . The chef is doing a great job , we have tried butter chicken, karai chicken, biryani, paneer lababdar andeverything is just delicious. Portion sizes are great, food quality is amazing . Negative- Customer service for dine is a hitand miss. If the manger is serving , its good but there are days that they will take 5-10 minutes to even acknowledge peoplewaiting to be seated. May want to train/hire more people. Anyway, we love to order take out from this restaurant as its closerto our neighborhood. Read more

We are from Vancouver & drop by this place by a random pick. The place itself is gorgeous with fancy decor. The guy who was... serving food was really nice and food is delicious too though the portion is a bit small. My favorite is the paneer buttermasala. Everyone enjoyed the whole food. Their desserts menu seems nice but didn?t get chance to try it this time. I will highlyrecommend this place to everyone !! Good luck guys Read more

Just wow!!! We ordered medium spiced goat biryani ($17CAD) and what a taste!!! The amount was so generous and good for two... person easily. The amount of meat was just more than perfect. The sitting arrangement is really open and cozy. I am highlyrecommend you to visit this place. So far the best one in windermere-terwillegar area. Read more

The best Indian restaurant in the city. Every dish we've tried has been delicious. The butter chicken, mango chicken curry lamb... vindaloo are especially good. Also the lababdar chicken is worth a try it's also super delicious. The garlic naan is alwayscooked perfectly. Our only complaint is that they are not consistent with the spice level. Sometimes medium is very spicy whichis great but other times we order medium and it's not spicy at all. Can't risk ordering spicy though because when it's spicyit's very spicy!! Despite this it's worth it since the food is so good but really wished they were consistent. Read more

I've had Indian food many times, and it was our first time trying Indo-Chinese food, so I didn't know what to expect. I knew it... wasn't going to be anything like Chinese food, and I didn't expect it to be. As a Chinese Canadian, I loved the chicken chowmein. The momos or dumplings were also quite nice. We actually came back to try other things and it was just as good. Onething I think they can improve on is the service. It wasn't bad, as they were very friendly and checked on us multiple times; itwas just noticeably amateur. I also wished that they could've explained what the food items to us were better. For example, theserver had trouble explaining to us that momos were dumplings and we had no idea until it came out. Also when we asked for aknife, we saw the server rub the knife side repeatedly with their fingers while talking to a coworker before bringing it to us.We did not use that knife. We would totally come back again. Overall the place feels nice and clean. Read more

I am posting this review after at least 20 experiences at Masala Tree- from Uber Eats to takeout, to dine-in and also delivery... using their app. First time dine-in experience was great - tasty food, prompt service, levelled spices. Takeout and deliverycould be better, especially in packaging to avoid spills and missed or mistaken order/ quantity. The takeout/ delivery made mefeel there was an oversight. When called, the mistake was acknowledged and corrected promptly - a gesture of sincerity andownership. I am still a cautious fan of the restaurant and hoping they maintain the food quality and improve in the servicearea. Read more
